Rian Johnson [Notable Works {As A Producer}: N/A]: Much Like New York this would be a film to help him garner some producing Credits, this time as he takes back seat to an Exec Producer allowing The Director Full creative control.

Kurt Russell [Notable Works {As A Producer}: Escape From L.A., 14 Hours]: Kurt seems to have a mostly positive attitude about the remake. He only has one serious demand - Who ever plays Snake has to be an American. I figure if it follows that suit, and you bring in Kurt it would be a show of good faith and could appease Russell.

Larry J. Franco [Notable Works: Escape From New York, The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China]: Larry has produced a large number of Carpenter films, and I always felt that if Escape was remade Larry would have to serve as an Exec Producer.

Gale Anne Hurd [Notable Works: The Walking Dead, The Punisher, Terminator]: She's a high profiled Producer that I felt would be a trusting source for the Escape Remake. She's a clever gal who knows where to put her faith in.
Producer: Film producers prepare and then supervise the making of a film before presenting the product to a financing entity or a film distributor. They might be employed by a film studio or be independent, yet either way they helm the creative people as well as the accounting personnel.
Robert Rodriguez [Notable Works {As A Producer}: Predators, Death Proof, Sin City]: I honestly wanted to have him Direct New York, but it wasn't a project I felt he was best for. He's a very trusting producer and would really do all that's necessary to get the film made.

Shane Black [Notable Works {As A Producer}: The Last Boy Scout, The Long Kiss Goodbye]: Shane was my original choice to direct. But I didn't feel like he was 100% the right person. He's a good writer and an appropriate producer for the project.

Joel Silver [Notable Workers: Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Escape From New York {Remake}]: He's the official Producer of the Escape Remake and an essential member of this Project. He's a longtime player of the Producing game and fitting for the project.

Drew Pearce [Notable Works {As A Producer}: Damage Control {T.V. Series}, No Heroics {T.V. Series/Movie}, Lip Service {T.V. Series}]: He's about to take his venture into Directing and while I have him for another role in the project it felt appropriate to put him on as a Producer to help him expand his filmography.
Costume Designer: A costume designer is a person who designs costumes for a film or stage production. The role of the costume designer is to create the characters and balance the scenes with texture and color, etc.The costume designer works alongside the director, scenic, lighting designer, sound designer, and other creative personnel. The costume designer may also collaborate with hair stylist, wig master, or makeup artist. In European theatre, the role is different, as the theatre designer usually designs both costume and scenic elements.
Sharen Davis [Notable Works: Book of Eli, Looper, Django Unchained]: I love her work as a costume designer. She did such a lovely job with Book of Eli and Looper to get the gravity of this apocolyptic/dystopian world in the character's appearance. Her work with Django is inspiring with the many costume showcasing the western side of the characters while conveying personal style and difference. She would give us a just as Iconic look for Snake as did Carpenter and his Company.
Production Designer: a production designer or P.D is the person responsible for the overall look of a filmed event such as films, TV programs, video games, music videos or adverts. Production designers have one of the key creative roles in the creation of motion pictures and television. Working directly with the director and producer, they must select the settings and style to visually tell the story.
Patrick Tatopoulos [Notable Works: Batman Vs Superman, Total Recall {2012}, Live Free Or Die Hard]: He gave the future a very authentic and very depressing look in Total Recall. He's great at the job and can really get the gravity of a world set in a depressing dystopian setting.
Director of Photography: A cinematographer (usually credited with the title director of photography, or DP) is the chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a film and responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image. The study and practice of this field is referred to as cinematography.
Robert Rodriguez [Notable Works {As A D.P.}: Sin City, Planet Terror, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For]: When Rodriguez goes all in on his projects he really goes all in. He's a fine filmmaker who's recent works have been less appealing but I think his talents as a D.P. Would fit him very well with Escape From L.A.
Film Editor: Film editing is part of the creative post-production process of filmmaking. The term film editing is derived from the traditional process of working with film, but now it increasingly involves the use of digital technology.
Robert Rodriguez [Notable Works {As A Film Editor}: Sin City, From Dusk Till Dawn, Spy Kids]: He's an accomplished Editor, he knows how his films flow and would be able to get the feel and well transitioned action cuts that would give the film a Carpenter-Esq Feel.

Movie}], Shane Black [Notable Works {As A Screenwriter}: Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man Three], & Robert Rodriguez [Notable Works {As A Screenwriter}: Desperado, Machete, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For]: Much like New York Drew and Shane would do an initial draft that would be completed and doctored by Rodriguez to give the script more of his feel. I think together as a team they would write a very capable script and a well rounded film for Escape From L.A.

The score forms part of the film's soundtrack, which also usually includes dialogue and sound effects, and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question.
Michael Wandmacher [Notable Works: Punisher: War Zone, Never Back Down, Drive Angry] & Rober Rodriguez [Notable Works {As A Composer}: Kill Bill Vol. 2, Sin City {Co-Composer}, Planet Terror]: With Wandmacher having one Escape From New York and Rodriguez working on L.A. I felt it appropriate the two would work together as Co-Composers. Rodriguez isn't without Musical talent as listed by his filmography and he's worked with other composers this would allow him and Wandmacher to deliver a powerful score.

Director: Directors are responsible for overseeing creative aspects of a film under the overall control of the film producer. They often develop the vision for a film and carry out the vision, deciding how the film should look, in other words they make their vision come to life. They are responsible for turning the script into a sequence of shots. They also direct what tone it should have and what an audience should gain from the cinematic experience. They will often take part in hiring the cast and key crew members. They coordinate the actors' moves, or blocking and also may be involved in the writing, financing and editing of a film.
Robert Rodriguez [Notable Works {As A Director}: Sin City, Machete, Planet Terror]: He's not the best Director but as much as Escape From New York would be a Rian Johnson film, Escape From L.A. Would be a Robert Rodriguez film. He's a find director who really encompasses all manners of filmmaking while really striving for the best of his products. He would be an ace for Escape From L.A.
S.D. Bob "Snake" Plissken [Height: 5' 11", Age: 30's-40's]: He is a former Special Forces operator/war hero in World War III turned criminal. His apprehension and coercion by the United States Police Force to secure top-secret material from the ex-cities turned maximum security prisons of New York and Los Angeles play a big role in the movies, giving him the role of the protagonist.
Norman Reedus [Height: 5' 10", Age: 45, Notable Works: Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead, Pandorum]: Norman wasn't my first choice, but honestly I believe he's the best choice for the role. An all around American, who's had a lot of experience in action films but has never done a role like Snake Before. This would afford him the range. He's the right styled actor for this, he's definitely an actor you wouldn't expect but you could definitely see him do the role amazingly well.
Map to the Stars Eddie [Height: 5' 9", Age: 30's-40's]: A career criminal with no Niche' who was deported to L.A. Which became a calling for Eddie. As he entered L.A. He was taken under the wing of the transvestite "Hershe Les Palmas" She gave him a gimmick to go buy and limited protection, for his service he would be her spy on Cuervo Jones, the leader of the L.A. Branch of the Shining Path Terror organization. Eventually Eddie became an ally of Cuervo and left Hershe behind.
Topher Grace [Height: 5' 11", Age: 35, Notable Works: Predators, Take Me Home Tonight, Interstellar {Forthcoming}]: I'm a big fan of Topher, and I knew instantly he was the guy for the role. He's got the talkative smart-attitude that really worked with Buscemi but he can also play a mongoose under the porch. Topher does amazing work as an actor and would be perfect for Eddie.
Pipeline [Height: 6' 2 1/2", Age: 40's-50's]: A freebird surfer. Broke a small law, just enough to get him to L.A. So he could live his life on the Beach of L.A. After years he took control of a small gang who only attack those who cross the territory of their Beach. He's a very loose person who enjoys surfing as a his main hobby.
Aaron Eckhart [Height: 6' 0", Age: 45, Notable Works: I, Frankenstein, The Dark Knight, Olympus Has Fallen]: I chose Eckhart mainly due to the fact he's a good actor but he actually knows how to and engages in Surfing. That being a very key part in Pipeline's character it felt natural that Eckhart, who does Surf, would be a great fit for the role.
President [Height: 5' 11", Age: 60's-70's]: A Strong Catholic, who predicted a millenium shaking earthquake that separated "The City of Sin, The City of Gamora, The City of Sodom" from the United States. Once he was elected, due to his "prophecy" he was elected President, soon after the constitution is amended and he is given a lifetime term of office.
Bryan Cranston [Height: 5' 11", Age: 57, Notable Works: Total Recall, Breaking Bad, Argo]: He was a slam dunk of a choice. He's an immensely talented actor and he would play a wonderful evil President. He would be delightful for the President of the United States.
Taslima [Height: 5' 7", Age: 30's-40's]: A muslim who was arrested and deported to L.A. When she refused to give up her religion. She loves being in L.A. Calling it "The last free place in the world" She develops a crush on Snake and helps him until she is killed in a driveby shooting.
Michelle Rodriguez [Height: 5' 4", Age: 35, Notable Works: Machete, Avatar, The Fast and The Furious]: She's a talented actress, a beautiful one, and was the first person I could really think of that would fit as Taslima. It's a role that would really be a switch to her. She's used to play tougher characters and this would give her a sense of vulnerability.
Cmdr. Malloy [Height: 6' 0", Age: 40's-50's]: Diligent Military warden of L.A. Once Snake is captured he talks the President out of an air-strike in favor of sending in Snake Plissken to find the black box and terminate the President's daughter. He shows full and utter faith in Plissken, possibly from having served with him in the 3rd World War.
Josh Brolin [Height: 5' 10", Age: 45, Notable Works: No Country For Old Man, Gangster Squad, Men In Black 3]: Josh is a wonderful actor. He's got the grit for the role and would really be a credit for the film.
Brazen [Height: 5' 9", Age: 30's]: A loyal subcommander of Malloy. Like all new citizens of the United States she is a dedicated catholic and possibly virgin leading to possibly sexual frustration explaining her short tempered and very stern and harsh mannerisms. She shows utter contempt for Snake, due to his criminal background thinking of him as a moron.
Jennifer Carpenter [Height: 5' 10", Age: 34, Notable Works: Dexter, The Factory, Gone]: I love Jennifer Carpenter, she is such a delightful actress to watch. She does such an amazing and strong female characterization that it would be great to see her do something vastly different from what she has been in.
Hershe Les Palmas [Height: 5' 8", Age: 40's]: A transvestite who sought solace in the body of a woman. As a man she was Carjack Malone, an associate of Snake Plissken who sold him and Texas Mike O'Shakes out in a Cleveland heist. While Snake got away Bob was killed and Hershe was later subject to the L.A. Prison. There, as a woman she was able to set up the second most powerful gang in all of L.A.
Vivica A. Fox [Height: 5' 7", Age: 49, Notable Works: Kill Bill Vol. 1, Independence Day, Set it Off.]: Christ, Hershe was hard to cast, but I remembered Vivica and took sometimes to really think about it and felt that she fit the role quite well. She's a lovely actress and it would be hilarious to see her play a Transvestite.
Surgeon General of Beverly Hills [Height: 6' 1", Age: 30's]: A surgical failure who's able to keep himself and many others alive by transporting dead flesh onto their bodies. He has high standards as it comes to various bodies but is also the leader of his Beverly Hills gang.
James Franco [Height: 5' 11", Age: 35, Notable Works: Spring Breakers, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Spider-Man Trilogy]: I honestly thought this would be an appropriate role for James, considering how he likens himself to artist, it would be his chance to aprody that mentality and take on a more "artistic" demeanor that patronizes certain members of Hollywood's elite. He's a fine fit for the role.
Cuervo Jones [Height: 6' 0", Age: 40's]: A self proclaimed Revolutionist. A leader of the Shining Path, Cuervo has control of the Mescalito Justice, the biggest and baddest Gang of L.A. He was able to use his connections that enabled him to contact Utopia, Daughter of the President of the United States and manipulating her into working for him and causing her to believe she was in love with him.
Benicio Del Toro [Height: 6' 1", Age: 46, Notable Works: Sin City, The Hunted, Che]: His work in Che was inspiring in casting him as Cuervo Jones, but personally it was his role as Aaron in the film The Hunted that convinced me he would be perfect to take up the role. He's a fantastic actor and would be amazing for the role. He's got the right attitude and mood for Cuervo.

Utopia [Height: 5' 1", Age: 20's]: Daughter of the President of the United States. After her sister's suicide she fell into a deep depression, seeking solace she began delving into fictionist worlds that would allow her happiness. It was then she was introduced to Cuervo Jones, who "Opened her eyes" to the real status of the United States. She grew resentment towards her father, blaming him for her sister's suicide. Using her connections as Daughter, she was able to steal military technology referred to as "The Black Box" an object that would allow anyone to hack into the Sword of Damocles Satellite ring orbiting Earth and trigger large and powerful EMPs.
Maggie Grace [Height: 5' 9", Age: 30, Notable Works: Lockout, Taken, Taken 2]: She's proven herself to be quite the formidable actress. She's given great performances in films such as Taken and Lockout. This was a no brainer for me to really consider Maggie as Utopia.
Test Tube [Height: 5' 8", Age: 30's-40's]: A weak-willed scientific genius, fired from Nasa and turned into a criminal, likely due to a crush on Utopia - having assisted her in the capture of the Black Box. He was able to assist Cuervo in the demonstration of the power of the Sword of Damocles.
Seth Green [Height: 5' 4", Age: 39, Notable Works: Austin Powers{Franchise}, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Family Guy]: Seth is one funny S.O.B. And when it came to Test Tube He was probably the best fitting choice I could think of. He does wonderful comedic performances but this would allow him to do some Drama, which he hasn't done much of. Sure Test Tube isn't a big character but it leaves all the more room for Seth to give his own spin on it.
