This is my first fancast and I wanted to try and be a little different. Some of the actors/actresses have been used already but a lot of them have not. I guess you could call this a reboot but I'm not playing by the rules of high school Spidey. Instead I just picked who I thought would be best for each role. Hope you enjoy!

Spider-Man/Peter Parker: Joseph Gordon Levitt

Levitt has become a great actor and fits Peter Parker perfectly, he can play serious and goofy at the same time. If you need proof watch the movies Brick and 500 Days of Summer.

Aunt May: Maggie Smith

I feel I was one of the few people that didn't really care for Rosemary Harris as Aunt May. Maggie Smith would give the role some substance as she has been a terrific actress for years.

Uncle Ben: William Shatner

Shatner is a fan favorite and his style would go well with Uncle Ben's free spirit attitude.

Gwen Stacy: Dianna Agron

Although Agron plays a completely different type of character on "Glee" I'm sure she could pull this off, she definitley has the look.

Mary Jane Watson: Emmy Rossum

This might not be the most popular pick but I believe she captures Mary Jane nicely. Imagine her with red hair and she looks the part, heck there is a bit of a red tint to her hair in this picture.

Harry Osborn: Jesse Eisenberg

Eisenberg is an up and coming star. He knows how to play the guy with no confidence and could bring a lot to the character. For a great example of his talent watch "Squid and the Whale."

Flash Thompson: Cory Monteith

Monteith already plays a jock on "Glee" and he also plays a dofus, those two things alone make him right for the part.

Betty Brant: Michelle Monaghan

Monaghan can be he strong woman or play behind the scenes and that is exactly what Betty Brant can do as well.

J. Jonah Jameson: Alan Arkin

Let's face it no one would do a better job than J.K. Simmons, it may have been the best casting of any comic character ever. But for arguments sake I'll take Arkin since he is a great actor who can play the old grumpy boss.

John Jameson: Matt Rippy

I saw Rippy in an episode of "Torchwood" and immediately thought he would be perfect for John.

Liz Allan: Mischa Barton

Not much to say here, I think Barton fits the role nicely, she might match up well with Eisenberg as well.

Robbie Robertson: Danny Glover

Can you think of a better person to play the wise advice giver?

George Stacy: Warren Beatty

I wanted someone with charisma and Beatty fits the bill nicely.

Cloak/Tyrone Johnson: Djimon Hounsou

He may be a little older but it's not like Cloak's face is seen much anyways, plus Hounsou's attitude and voice fit nicely.

Dagger/Tandy Bowen: January Jones

Jones has the look to play Dagger and can play both aggressive and compassionate.

Madame Webb/Cassandra Webb: Vanessa Redgrave

Redgrave's experience goes a long way in playing Webb's wise demeanor. I also thought of using Redgrave for Aunt May.

Silver Sable/Silver Sablinova: Sarah Michelle Gellar

Wanted someone who could kick butt like Sable, and SMG seemed like the best choice.

Black Cat/Felicia Hardy: Eliza Dushku

After watching "Dollhouse" I think Dushku would be perfect for Cat.

Beetle/Abner Jenkins: Rob Lowe

Lowe is an underrated actor who could play the underrated villain.

Boomerang/Fred Myers: Michael Vartan

Boomerang is another underrated villain and his cockiness would be played well by Vartan.

Cardiac/Elias Wirtham: Taye Diggs

Diggs fits this role nicely. A villain that has good intentions.

Carnage/Cletus Kassady: Vincent Cassel

Cassel plays crazy badguy as good as anyone and could play psychotic Carnage very well.

Carrion/Malcom McBride: Doug Jones

Everyone's favorite CGI actor fits nicely for Carrion.

Chameleon/Dmitri Smerdyakov: Tim Roth

I'm not exactly sure why I picked Roth for this character, I guess he is a bit of a chameleon himself when it comes to acting.

Doctor Octopus/Otto Octavius: Oliver Platt

Platt can play smart and crazy at the same time, that along with his look fit perfectly for Doc Ock.

Electro/Maxwell Dillon: Jude Law

Law has the menacing look and acting chops to pull of the insane Electro.

The Rose/Richard Fisk: Ryan Phillippe

In the movie "Crash" Phillippe played a bit of a tortured soul and that is basically what Fisk is as well.

Green Goblin/Norman Osborn: Christopher Meloni

Meloni definitley looks the part and his acting in "SVU" proves that he could easily be this deadly foe.

Grim Hunter/Alyosha Kravinoff: Eric Balfour

Balfour has shown in shows like "Six Feet Under" and "24" that he is a pretty good actor and he has the look to play Kraven's son.

Hammerhead: Harvey Keitel

Keitel has played a mobster before and has the seriousness to pull of this roll.

Hobgoblin/Jason Macendale: Mark Wahlberg

Hobby gets much less attention than Green Goblin but he is still a very cool villain. Wahlberg is a very good actor that can play the part well.

Demogoblin: Donnie Wahlberg

Who better to play Mark Wahlberg's evil essence than his brother Donnie.

Hydro Man/Morrie Bench: Nathan Fillion

Fillion is one of my favorite actors and can play just about any part, it's just a matter if he looks the role, and in this case he does.

Kingpin/Wilson Fisk: John Goodman

Goodman is a versatile as they come and he has the size to play the Kingpin of crime.

Kraven/Sergei Kravinoff: Josh Brolin

I know that Gerard Butler is everyone's favorite to play the role but I think Brolin looks just as much like Kraven and is a better actor.

Lizard/Curt Conners: Jeremy Davies

Davies is an excellent actor as shown in "Lost" and "Rescue Dawn." He already has played a scientist and knows how to play desperate.

Molten Man/Mark Raxton: Jason Statham

Statham can play the physical role very well and this part doesn't require a oscar winning actor, just someone who can pull off a fight scene.

Morbius/Michael Morbius: Benicio del Toro

I tried to find someone else, but del Toro is perfect for the part and is a great actor.

Mysterio/Quentin Beck: Peter Sarsgaard

If you need proof that he can play this part, just check out his performances in "Shattered Glass," "Jarhead," or "Garden State."

Prowler/Hobie Brown: Mos Def

Mos Def has become a very good actor and could play the Prowler as either a villain or a hero.

Puma/Thomas Fireheart: Adam Beach

Beach has proven himself in "Flags of our Fathers" and in "Law and Order SVU."

Rhino/Aleksei Sytsevich: Adam Baldwin

I wanted a big brute to play Rhino and Baldwin fits nicely. He can play the big dumb guy very well and is actually a very good actor.

Rocket Racer/Robert Farrell: Mekhi Phifer

I wanted someone cocky and cool to play Racer and Phifer seems to play that in about every role he is in.

Sandman/William Baker: Mark Ruffalo

He may not exactly look the part, but I wanted someone who is a versatile actor as Sandman is one of the deeper villains in Spidey universe. Ruffalo could build up enough to play the part very well.

Scorpion/Mac Gargan: Jeremy Sisto

Sisto has the size and look to play Scorpion.

Shocker/Herman Schultz: Guy Pearce

Pearce is a great actor and can play just about anything. Shocker isn't a big time villain but he is very cool and should be played by someone worthy, Pearce is the guy.

Shriek: Jordana Brewster

Brewster has shown enough in her acting ability to play this role. Basically as long as she can play crazy she will be perfect since she looks the part.

Silvermane/Silvio Manfredi: Max von Sydow

Even though I have a picture of the cyborg, I was thinking more along the lines of the mob boss and therefore think von Sydow is perfect.

Speed Demon/James Sanders: Bradley Cooper

I basically waned someone who can play the self centered jerk, since Cooper plays that often I thought he would be a good fit.

Tombstone/Lonnie Lincoln: Michael Dorn

With Tombstone, you need the voice and the big body, Dorn has both and has played a brute for years on Star Trek.

Venom/Eddie Brock: Ryan Hurst

Venom is the hardest to cast. I wanted someone who looked the part but also someone who is a good actor. Hurst looks the part and was very good in "Remember the Titans," and "Ladykillers." He also gets good reviews for "Sons of Anarchy," but I have not seen the show.

Vermin/Edward Whelan: Steve Buscemi

I wanted an actor with a creepy look and Buscemi definitley has that. He is also a terrific actor who can play many parts.

Vulture/Adrian Toomes: Ben Kingsley

Kingsley is perfect for this role. He is perfect for Toomes and perfect for the Vulture.

Will O' The Wisp/Jackson Avrad: Daniel Craig

I wanted someone who can play serious and brooding. Daniel Craig immediately came to mind.
