Cast
Johnny Bolt - Bradley Cooper
Electrical powers
Bradley Charles Cooper is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the films The Hangover, The A-Team, Wedding Crashers, and Limitless. In 2011, People magazine named Cooper "Sexiest Man Alive".
Bradley Cooper is a great fit for Johnny his got the charisma that the role would need, a versatile actor being able to do the comedy and action parts for the role.
-------
The Heat - Alan Ford or Peter O'Toole
Old school ray-gun and mask style villain
Alan Ford is an English actor. Ford was trained at East 15 Acting School. He is perhaps best known today for his roles in the Guy Ritchie crime capers Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, and guest starring in The Bill. He also appeared in Exorcist: The Beginning and, much earlier, as 'Roosta' in the original radio version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, along with a small speaking role in the British gangster film The Long Good Friday. Ford has also recently appeared in the 2010 music video "For He's a Jolly Good Felon" by Welsh rockers Lostprophets.
Alan Ford is in any role designed to be a gangster/criminal and you could imagine him passing in his skills to the next generation of criminals.
Peter Seamus Lorcan O'Toole is an English actor of stage and screen. O'Toole achieved stardom in 1962 playing T. E. Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia, and then went on to become a highly-honoured film and stage actor. He has been nominated for eight Academy Awards, and holds the record for most competitive Academy Award acting nominations without a win.
I will admit he wasn't my first choice but sadly David Kelly died earlier this year; however Peter O'Toole is a terrific classically trained actor and I could see him playing the Heat and making him a very endearing character.
-------
Kasey - Alice Eve
Psychic
Alice Sophia Eve is an English actress, known for her roles in films including She's out of My League, Sex and the City 2, Men in Black 3. She also stars in the recent The Decoy Bride.
She's as sexy as hell, She can act (very underrated for the roles she has played) and you could imagine her being the bad girl trying to turn her life around.
-------
The Ghost - Matthew Goode
Phasing
Matthew William Goode is an English actor. His notable films have included Chasing Liberty, Match Point, Watchmen, Brideshead Revisited, Leap Year, Imagine Me and You and A Single Man.
He was amazing in Watchmen as well as several other roles I've seen him in, true he may be a bit reluctant to be doing another Comic book movie but I really hope his up for it.
-------
TK McCabe - Joshua Jackson
Telekinesis
Joshua Carter Jackson is a Canadian actor. He has appeared in primetime television and in over 32 film roles. He is best known for playing Pacey Witter in Dawson's Creek, Charlie Conway in The Mighty Ducks film series and Peter Bishop in Fringe.
His (in my opinion) the best actor in Fringe showing that he can play a very complicated character.
-------
Forecast - Orlando Jones
Weather Manipulation
Orlando Jones is an American comedian and film and television actor. He is notable for being one of the original cast members of the sketch comedy series MADtv and for his role as the 7 up spokesman from 1999-2002.
I've loved him in films as early as Evolution, and I'm surprised no one has cast him in other roles before.
-------
Roddy Diesel - Dominic Purcell
Regeneration
Dominic Haakon Myrtvedt Purcell is an English-born Australian actor, best known for his roles as Lincoln Burrows in Prison Break, the titular character in John Doe, and Dracula in Blade: Trinity.
At first I was thinking about wrestlers to play this role but then I remembered Dominic and he just slotted in perfectly with the ideas I was having for the rest of the cast.
-------
Sammy Diesel - Sharlto Copley
Regeneration
Sharlto Copley is a South African producer, actor, and director who has produced and co-directed short films which have appeared at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as commercials and music videos. He is perhaps best known for playing the roles of Wikus van de Merwe in the Oscar-nominated science fiction film District 9 and Howling Mad Murdock in the 2010 adaptation of The A-Team.
One of my favourite actors since seeing District 9. His shown he can do action and drama with ease (with a bit of crazy added in).
-------
The Gladiator - Stanley Tucci or Robert Picardo (although in the real film they will cast Mark Strong)
Super Strength
Stanley Tucci is an American actor, writer, film producer and film director. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for performance in The Lovely Bones (2009), and won an Emmy Award for his performance in Winchell. He also was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for Children, for The One and Only Shrek.
Robert Picardo is an American actor. He is best known for his portrayals of Dr. Dick Richards on ABC's China Beach, the Emergency Medical Hologram (EMH), also known as The Doctor, on UPN's Star Trek: Voyager, The Cowboy in Innerspace, Coach Cutlip on The Wonder Years (where he received an Emmy nomination), Ben Wheeler in Wagons East, and as Richard Woolsey in the Canadian-American military science fiction television series Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe.
I wanted the gladiator to be a bit older than most of the cast and have you thinking is this really a super strong hero both Stanley and Robert would be great in the role.
-------
Praetorian - Liev Schreiber
Energy based powers
Liev Schreiber is an American actor, producer, director, and screenwriter. He became known during the late 1990s and early 2000s, having initially appeared in several independent films, and later mainstream Hollywood films, including the Scream trilogy of horror films, Phantoms, The Sum of All Fears, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Salt and Goon. Schreiber is also a respected stage actor, having performed in several Broadway productions.
He was the hardest role to cast as I wanted a great actor but also someone who could be the intimidating presence as well and Liev is both of those things.
-------
The Bastard - Michael Gambon
Makes Heads Explode
Sir Michael John Gambon, CBE is an English actor who has worked in theatre, television and film. A highly respected theatre actor, Gambon is recognised for his roles as Philip Marlow in the BBC television serial The Singing Detective, as Jules Maigret in the 1990s ITV serial Maigret, and as Professor Albus Dumbledore in the last six Harry Potter films).
He was in Layer Cake as one of the best gangster bosses I've seen on film and would play the menacing role of The Bastard expertly.

Let me know what you all think of the cast and any suggestions for alternative choices for the actors and actresses.
