The Amazing Spider-man (2012) is my favourite Spider-man movie but it felt it had parts missing in the movie: What happened to Dr Ratha, Uncle Ben's funeral, what happened to the Cash Register Thief (maybe hinting for future instalments) I was also inspired from the script by SevenWebHeads for The Amazing Spider-man 2 which was "Amazing!"

Synopsis:
One Year has passed, for Peter Parker, life is busy–between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen Stacy, high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn, returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Oscorp Tower is fully reconstructed, after the cross-species outbreak at Oscorp. The cross-species outbreak has been cured. Spider-Man has stopped the virus with aid of Dr Connors, who has returned to Ravencroft Institute, however one subject from Oscorp's breakout is rumoured to still be at large..."
Man in the Shadows turns away from the television and looks at Oscorp employee's files: Richard Parker (Deceased), Dr Ratha (Deceased) The Man in the Shadows picks up a photo of Peter Parker and smirks...
EXT. NEW YORK CITY - DAY
A busy street in New York, the Rhino is charging along the streets of New York, and destroys anything in his way. (Hints of flashbacks of the Rhino going through a painful transformation)
INT. EISENBURG'S SANDWICH - DAY
WORKER
Ok, bye! (On the phone)
WORKER
Mary Jane, Phil has called in sick; you need to work extra hours.
MARY JANE WATSON
Forget it, Jake. It’s...
A car drops onto a taxi and crushes it. Mary Jane Watson goes outside and sees what has happened in horror!
INT. DAILY BUGLE BUILDING - DAY
Suddenly the Daily Bugle publisher bursts out of his office.
J JONAH JAMESON
Quick, someone get me a photographer, the Rhino is back!
EXT. NEW YORK CITY –DAY
The Rhino is knocking out cars, trucks any other obstacle in his path. The New York Police Department are shooting their guns at the Rhino but nothing happens, they decide to fall back.
OFFICER 1
He's unstoppable! Fall back!
OFFICER 2
Help! I'll be crushed!
Suddenly, Spider-man appears at the scene and rescues Officer 2. (Peter Parker is wearing a new suit)
OFFICER 2
Thanks heavens, Spider-man!

Don't these losers ever learn - Nothin' stops the Rhino!
INT. OSCORPTOWER – NIGHT
6 Months Earlier…
NORMAN OSBORN
Dr Ratha, I want you to test the cross-species genetics serum.
After Spider-man saves Dr Ratha works on the cross-species serum.
Michael Morbius is a biochemist at Oscorp Industries.
DR RATHA
Dr Morbius, I need your help!
Dr Morbius agreed he applied the rhinoceros DNA which Dr Ratha supplied him to test the cross-species serum.
Dr Ratha's used a thug named Aleksei Sytsevich who is grasping at dreams of easy money (If it worked, the mafia would have a new weapon, if not...no great loss) After a painful transformation, Sytsevich was now a hybrid of man and rhinoceros, ready to tear apart anything in his path.
DR RATHA
Wait till Norman Osborn sees this...
Dr Ratha appears at the swear lab, the Lizard kills Dr Ratha because Dr Ratha had discovered his plan.
Morbius talks to his colleagues at Oscorp.
DR MORBIUS
I have created a hybrid of man and rhinoceros; I originally used a rhinoceros that was infused with human DNA to create this beautiful creature. I created this creature entirely of my own pride, with help from using Dr Connors' notes.
Oscorp employees start clapping.
EXT. NEW YORK CITY – DAY
The Rhino breaks into a bank and destroys the safe and grabs bags of money.
Spider-man appears at the scene and the face each other with eye contact (flashbacks of their car park showdown, Spider-man remembered the two key factors: Once charging, the Rhino cannot change directions and to avoid the two horns)
The Rhino charges towards him but Spider-man dodges him and the Rhino crashed into a wall marble, the Rhino is knocked out. Spider-man uses the antidote and repels the Rhino's powers. (Similar like Peter done with Dr Connors)
Aleksei Sytsevich is put into Ravencroft Institute (Small hints of flashbacks of him going through a painful transformation into the Rhino)
EXT. MIDTOWN HIGH – DAY
INT. MIDTOWN HIGH – DAY
Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, Flash Thompson and Harry Osborn are sitting their final exam at Midtown High.
After the exam they talk, Peter meets his old friend Harry Osborn.
PETER PARKER
You have been away for a long time?
HARRY OSBORN
My father is ill, but now he is slowly getting better.

In the evening, Aunt May is washing the dishes while Peter Parker is sitting on the couch and watching television.

The Daily Bugle, Wanted Spider-man Photographer!
Someone knocks on the door, Peter answers it; Two men in black are standing on the door step.
MAN 1
FBI, we are here to talk about Ben Parker's death, may we come in?
Aunt May walks towards the door.
AUNT MAY

Dennis Carradine is the man that killed Benjamin Parker.
Man 1 handed over a photo of Dennis Carradine.
Man 1
Carradine is still out there.
They leave, Peter heads to his room and lies down on his bed. Peter sees flashbacks of Uncle Ben's death.
POLICE MAN
He has a star tattooed on his left hand! (Flashback)
Peter Parker sees a new vision of him stopping the thief and Uncle Ben not dying.
UNCLE BEN
With great power comes great responsibility! (Flashback)
EXT. PETER’S HOUSE - DAY
Peter is fixing a car while MJ is getting ready to ride a motorcycle to Eisenburg's Sandwich.
EXT. OSCORP TOWER – DAY
INT. OSCORP TOWER – DAY
Max Dillon is a worker at Oscorp, it is a big meeting at Oscorp where all the colleagues have to show their work, a man just finished their presentation.
MAX DILLON
(He just stole my idea, how?)
EMPLOYER

MAX DILLON
(Max is struggling what to say) 'I'm still working on it and I’m not finished yet!
His colleagues laugh at him.
EXT. NEW YORK CITY – DAY
Stan Lee is reading The Daily Bugle while Spider-man is swinging though the air taking pictures for the Daily Bugle, Stan looks up and sees Spider-man.
STAN LEE
Boy, is it Halloween already!
INT. MAX DILLON’S APPARTMENT – DAY
A notice board is shown with pictures of Spider-man and a calendar which shows: today is Max's birthday (No one wishes him a happy birthday) Max Dillon arrives home and he switches the TV on as sees the Spider-man stopping the Rhino.
EXT. PETER’S HOUSE - DAY
Gwen arrives in a taxi at Peter’s house. She is waiting for Peter to answer the door, while she is waiting she sees Mary Jane Watson in her front garden.
Mary Jane Watson they chat. After they chat Gwen Stacy leaves after realising Peter has gone out.
EXT. ALLEY - NIGHT
Max walking down the street in his pyjamas, he comes across Spider-man.
MAX DILLON
Are-Are you Spider-man! You’re my guy; you’re my eyes and eyes on the street.
Max quickly looks down into his bag for a photo of Spider-man to sign, he looks up and Spider-man has gone.
Spider-man leaves a note saying 'your friendly neighbourhood Spider-man!'
EXT. OSCORP TOWER - DAY
Max Dillon arrives at Oscorp.
Max talks to his colleagues.
MAX DILLON
I saw Spider-man last night. His colleagues laugh at him and make jokes out of it, Max becomes depressed.
EXT. DAILY BUGLE BUILDING – DAY
INT. DAILY BUGLE BUILDING – DAY

Hi!
PETER PARKER
I got some pictures of Spider-man.
BETTY BRANT
You should see our publisher.
Peter approaches an office door with a name sign which reads out 'Editor in Chief, J Jonah Jameson' Peter hears a man shouting he knocks on the door, after waiting a few seconds.
J. JONAH JAMESON
Come in!
Peter enters the office.
J. JONAH JAMESON
Hey, kid what do you want?
Peter shows J. Jonah Jameson the pictures.
J. JONAH JAMESON
You’re too young kid.
ROBBIE ROBINSON
Jonah, these photos are incredible. At least give him a chance?
After a few seconds Jameson realises he is the best option.
J. JONAH JAMESON
Alright kid, take the freelance job, here's $50!
PETER PARKER
Serious! $50!
J. JONAH JAMESON
Hey! Don't push your luck kid!
Peter walks out of the office and walks toward Betty and hands over the paper.
BETTY BRANT

Peter takes the money and leaves.
EXT. QUEENS – NIGHT
At night, while Peter is skateboarding his way home as he arrives at Queens, a man (Man in the Shadows) is watching him.
INT. PETER’S HOUSE - DAY
Peter and Aunt May are getting ready to go to Uncle Ben's funeral.
EXT. CEMETERY – DAY
INT. PETER’S HOUSE – NIGHT
Peter and Aunt May arrive home
PETER PARKER
That night Uncle Ben died for only doing the right thing. A man stole cash from the store and Uncle Ben just wanted to help and the man shot him is all my fault if I stopped the man in the store Uncle Ben wouldn't have died.
INT. PETER’S HOUSE - DAY
Peter is getting ready for graduation and the TV is on in Peter’s room.
DAILY BUGLE TV PRESENTER
News report, Oscorp is expanding their resources, tomorrow Oscorp is launching their Electrical Station is rumoured to be a prototype of their latest research once is ready, Oscorp will provide free electricity for everyone. Some say is just another cheap move from Oscorp so they can rebuild the damage that has been done to Oscorp. Dr Connors who was behind the event is currently in jail. The founder of Oscorp: Norman Osborn, who has been in the shadows for years despite his health issues, will make an appearance at the event.
EXT. MIDTOWN HIGH – DAY
Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, Flash Thompson and Harry Osborn graduate from Midtown High.
They all take a photo and celebrate.
FLASH THOMPSON
Hey Parker, I’m joining the army so this is where we say farewell.
Peter Parker and Harry Osborn talk.
PETER PARKER
Are you coming to the Oscorp event tomorrow?
HARRY OSBORN
Definitely, I'm the son of Norman Osborn (Founder of Oscorp)
PETER PARKER
Really!
HARRY OSBORN
I will introduce you to him; he is a very good man.
EXT. CHINATOWN – NIGHT
After Graduation, Peter and Gwen celebrate at Chinatown while The Daily Bugle van is passing by Chinatown delivering newspapers. They have dinner and Gwen remembers her father made a promise with Peter.
GWEN STACY
Remember, my father said to say away from you.
Peter and Gwen talk about this they both fall into tears.
GWEN STACY
Let's go to my father’s grave.
They both visit Captain Stacy's grave
CAPTAIN STACY
Leave Gwen out of it! (Flashback)
PETER PARKER
I promise you I will protect you as long as I am Spider-man.
Peter's Spider-Sense goes off and Peter slowly turns around and sees a Man (Man in the Shadows) and he turns back to Gwen. He turns back to the man but he had gone.
EXT. PETER’S HOUSE – NIGHT
INT. PETER’S HOUSE – NIGHT
Peter arrives at home.
PETER PARKER
Is there a possibility my parents are still alive...I think I'm being tracked down by someone I know.
AUNT MAY
Your parents died in a plane crash, that night your mother and father told me and Uncle Ben they had to give important information, so they left you and Richard's important documents with them (Flashback of the night Richard and Mary left)
EXT. OSCORP TOWER - DAY
INT. OSCORP TOWER - DAY
Oscorp event, Peter and Gwen are looking at the new Oscorp Electrical Station (Peter is very fascinated by it)
Peter sees Max Dillon.
PETER PARKER
(Max Dillon works for Oscorp, Peter feels sorry for him)
PETER PARKER
DO you want to meet my friend Spider-man?
MAX DILLON
When?
PETER PARKER
Meet him at the top of Oscorp tower at 10pm tonight.
Is 10pm and Max still waiting to meet Spider-man but Spider-man never shows up.
Harry Osborn introduces his father to Peter Parker.
HARRY OSBORN
Peter, this is my father Norman Osborn.
PETER PARKER
Hi, Mr Osborn
NORMAN OSBORN
Good to see you Mr Parker. (Flashback of Norman smirking at a photo of Peter) Harry has told me all about you.
PETER PARKER
I hope not!
EXT. OSCORP TOWER – NIGHT
Max is still waiting for Spider-man. It is the end of the Oscorp event and everyone is leaving. Max Dillon is still waiting for Spider-man, But he never shows up (Max becomes mad) Max decides to come back down to the event a sees everyone has gone.
MAN IN THE SHADOWS
Max Dillon!
He looks around is dark and no one is there, suddenly the Man is the Shadows appears.
MAX DILLON
I have lost everything; Spider-man destroyed my life!
NORMAN OSBORN
Maxwell Dillon, I offer you to greatly enhance your abilities to superhuman levels in exchange to make Peter Parker suffer...Wish he had never been born (Which aloud Norman to get a blood sample to start the cure for himself)
Dillon agreed, sensing the opportunity to rise above his past with Spider-man. After undergoing the procedure with the electrical station which allowed him to generate and control vast amounts of electricity also he can override any electrical device at will. Later Max Dillon creates a plain black skin tight suit with a thick collar around his neck and from the neck up his face and he turned to a life of crime as Electro.
EXT. QUEENS - NIGHT
Electro finally arrives at Queens and the street lights flicker...as he gets nearer. Peter Parker runs outside and sees Max Dillon (Mary Jane watches what is going on outside to see what is going on through the window)
ELECTRO
Where is your friend Spider-man?
PETER PARKER
Max Dillon? (Peter is shocked)
Electro injures Peter by merely touching him. Electro knocks out Peter.
ELECTRO
Next time keep your promise
Electro walks away.
Norman walks out of the shadows and takes a blood sample of Peter.
NORMAN OSBORN
You look just like your father!
PETER PARKER
(Peter is shocked)
Mary Jane Watson rushes outside at runs towards Peter.
EXT. MAX DILLON’S APPARTMENT – DAY
Peter Parker is hanging upside down in an alley spying into a window (Max Dillon's apartment. He sees his notice board with pictures of Spider-man (Realising he hates Spider-man or is passionate about him)
EXT. SUBWAY STATION – DAY
Max Dillon is at his lair (The train station that closed down in 1945 under City Hall. Dillon is working on his master plan: To control New York City’s power supply
INT. OSCORP TOWER – DAY
Norman theories that if the Oz combined with spider DNA gave Parker the abilities of a spider, then if Norman were to receive Oz combined with his own DNA, he could become a heightened version of him.
Norman Osborn injected himself with the newly created Super Human Serum (Oz Compound) and using his own blood he tried to cure himself and become stronger, in the experiment Norman Osborn performs in an attempt to give himself powers, there is an explosion which exposes several people to Oz.
Norman discovered he had turned himself in to a demon like creature known as the Green Goblin, the effects of the Oz treated Norman's blood manifest as: The Ability to change to goblin form, greatly enhanced strength, enhanced durability, healing factor and is able to throw fire-balls.
When the Green Goblin is created, the smaller dosage gives him green claws, horns and head, though the rest of him is human like in appearance. When Osborn overdoses on Oz, his horns, stature and muscles become larger, as does the number of crests. Osborn later develops a way to transform without Oz into a larger, more powerful form, making injections obsolete. Due to overdosing on Oz, Osborn suffers from hallucinations. These include seeing everything through a blood-red filter, objects such as the Spider on Spider-Man's chest moving around, and creatures called "plasmids" tormenting him. Norman also created a Goblin Glider.
EXT. TIMES SQUARE – NIGHT
In an attempt to win himself the glory and respect, Dillon tried to devise a master plan to control New York City's power supply. However, he was defeated by Spider-man, because Peter used a fire hose and was able to defeat Electro. Electro convinced to quit his criminal career...if only temporarily defeated by Spider-Man at Times Square.
EXT. OSBORN MANSION - DAY
INT. OSBORN MANSION - DAY
Harry invites Peter to his mansion. Peter is alone, the TV is on.
DAILY BUGLE TV PRESENTER
A burnt dead body found of an Oscorp employee in the Hudson River!
Norman arrives at the room.
NORMAN OSBORN
Poor Max Dillon-He hated his life...so he killed himself!
NORMAN OSBORN
Peter I offer you to join me, think of all the things we could accomplish!
PETER PARKER
Never! (Osborn feels disgusted by Peter's sense of morality)
NORMAN OSBORN
Your father would be very disappointed of you! You will lose your loved ones just like your mother and father!
Later Peter leaves the mansion.
EXT. RAVENCROFT INSTITUTE – DAY
INT. RAVENCROFT INSTITUTE – DAY
Dr Connors is at Ravencroft Institute.
(Flashback) Dr Connors lost his arm at war being a surgeon.
DR CONNORS
When he became the Lizard, Martha feared for her life and kept her and Billy hidden away from him. I had turned myself into a horrible creature.
Peter Parker arrives at Ravencroft Institute and. Two security guards are standing at the front doors and he goes to the desk.
HEAD OF RAVENCROFT
How may I help you?
PETER PARKER
I'm here to see Dr Connors.
HEAD OF RAVENCROFT
Very well, take this boy to the
Communications Pavilion, S412D.
Another security guard takes him to the Communications Pavilion.
SECURITY
Wait here!
Peter sits at a desk, when Dr Connors arrives he is surprised to see Peter Parker.
DR CONNORS
Peter!
PETER PARKER
Norman Osborn wants something to do with me? He has been spying on me, he took my blood and now he wants me to join him?
DR CONNORS
Osborn is trying to perfect the Super Soldier drug for Oscorp again!
PETER PARKER
What, he done this before?
DR CONNORS
Yes - 5 years ago, Norman Osborn tried the newly created Super Solider drug on himself and it never worked causing him to be in a state of illness/dying. Realising something was missing. It seems he is trying it again this time though you.
PETER PARKER
Why me?
DR CONNORS
Norman Osborn asked myself and your father to create the cure for him your father had created the Oz formula at Oscorp for Osborn (Not knowing as is part of Norman's research into Super Soldiers) Richard changed/bred the spiders and mutated them with Oz compound secretly with Dr Connors to test it out, but Richard had a cut and the Oz compound had entered his bloodstream. After your father’s death, the research had gone along with him for 11 years. Norman Osborn used you to test out the spiders that Richard bred. (You was the son of Richard Parker, knowing you will come to Oscorp looking for answers and to aid us with your information as well) Osborn told me to let you enter the spider-room thinking the spider-bite will most likely kill you but we discovered your father’s experiment had worked. Your gene had the Oz compound already in your gene and the spider was not mutated but rather the bite from the spider, unleashed the powers from the Oz compound. He is trying to discover how you survived cross species so he can do the same to himself.
INT. OSBORN MANSION - DAY
At his mansion, Norman Osborn is taking the pieces of a picture of Franklin Roosevelt away (The 32nd President of the United States) revealing a picture of Gwen Stacy.
INT. 20 EXCHANGE PLACE – DAY
Norman Osborn travels to 20 Exchange Place, Manhattan Financial District with his glider and throws fire balls and causes an explosion, people are evacuating the building and he sees Gwen.
NORMAN OSBORN
Gwen!
Kidnaps Gwen from her and carries her to the top of Brooklyn Bridge.
INT. RAVENCROFT INSTITUTE – DAY
Peter's Spider-Sense goes off (He has a vision of Gwen on Brooklyn Bridge)
PETER PARKER
Gwen!
Peter rushes and leaves the Ravencroft Institute (Having knowledge of Norman Osborn's plan)
EXT. BROOKLYN BRIDGE - DAY
Spider-man arrived at the scene and his horrified to find the woman he loved in the hands of his nemesis.
NORMAN OSBORN
You will lose your loved ones just like your mother and father. (Flashback)
DR CONNORS
It seems he is trying it again this time though you. (Flashback)
NORMAN OSBORN
Peter Parker, you always ask for the hard way…
Spider-man blazed into battle, but was not enough to prevent the Green Goblin from pushing Gwen off the bridge. In his last desperate act to save his beloved, Spider-man fried a web-line that caught Gwen by her ankle, stopping her fall before she hit the water. Her neck snapped. Raising her up, Spider-man discovered she was already dead. The Green Goblin taunted him, saying that Gwen had been killed by the shock of the fall before he caught her. NYPD arrive at the scene and the Green Goblin fled.
Peter Parker cried of agony with Gwen Stacy in his arms.
EXT. CEMERTERY – DAY
The funeral of Gwen Stacy (Peter Parker vows to kill the Green Goblin as Spider-man)

Spider-man's Spider-Sense goes off while he swings though New York City ready to destroy the Green Goblin.
