The Amazing Spider-Man 3 Fancast

Learn who's playing Doc Ock, MJ, and Vulture along with who's my picks for the Sinister Six.

Plot: After the death of his girlfriend, Gwen Stacy, Peter almost completely dives intio his Spider-Man role. With Aunt May complaining that she rarely sees him anymore, he makes time for Peter Parker's future. With his new girlfriend, Felicia Hardy, Parker lets up on his vigilante role and dedicates more of his time to his work and education. This will be more or less a fit-in film that will actually make you feel like your in the Spidey universe instead of just New York City. The Spidey francise has characters, corporations and such that make it the Spidey universe.

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
With his role as Spider-Man somewhat taking his mind off the death of his girlfriend Gwen Stacy, Peter doesn't realize how much time he's devoted to being a vigilante. He decides to go on a hiatus from Spider-Man and map out his future.

Felicity Jones as Felicia Hardy/Black Cat
A criminal working under Oscorp, Black Cat is Harry Osborne's assistant, Felicia. Felicia doubles as the girlfriend of Peter Parker and the foe of Spider-Man, neither of the two being aware of the others identity. A masterful cat-burglar and martial artist, Felicia has full mastery of all her senses which gives her her own sort of Spidey Sense. Black Cat is seen in the line-up for the Sinister Six at the end of the movie.

Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin
Dane's performance in TASM2 was great for the whole 10 minutes he got to be Green Goblin. Harry is still running Oscorp. and he vows revenge against Peter Parker. He is shown once again creating villains for his Sinister Six. This time around he scars Dr. Otto Octavius by giving him the opprotunity to test Oscorp. mechanized  arms. Harry purposely sabotages Otto's display by bonding the arms to his skeleton. Harry then incapacitates Dr. Otto Octavius and lies to him, telling him that he murdered his family in a psychotic rage, causing Otto to lose all sense of good judgement and join Harry's cause.

Michael C. Hall as Dr. Otto Octavius/Dr. Octopus
I cite (literally) any episode of Dexter to prove why MCH is the perfect choice for Doc Ock. He can and has played a mentally unstable being that has a penchant for murdering people. He already has the look of Doc Ock despite his hair being more red than brown and he can obviously portray a mental foil to Peter. Dr. Otto Octavius is a long-suffering genius that finally gets his break when OsCorp. chooses him to test and display their new mechanized arms. Harry intentionally foils the proceedure, making the arms bond to Octavius' skeleton. After being incapacitated, he is told he murdered his wife and kids in a homicidal rage when in reality it was OsCorp. employees who did the killing. Doc Ock ios seen at the end of the film as part of the Sinister Six.

Chris Zylka as Eugene "Flash" Thompson
Flash plays a pivotal role in this film. Another subject of Harry Osborn's malice and at the same time his own. Flash returns from serving in the war with his legs blown off. A now broken man, Flash sees Peter's life on the surface as what he could've been. A bitter drunk, Flash attempts suicide only to be saved by Spider-Man. Flash envies the superhero and Harry appoaches Flash with a deal. Harry can give Flash back his legs and more if he joins Harry's team. Flash questions what good he'll do with no legs but Harry reassures him of his worth. Flash is seen at the end of the movie as part of the Sinister Six.

Holland Roden as Mary Jane Watson
Not a big role in this flick for MJ. Mary Jane comes back to town upon hearing of Harry taking over his father's company and Gwen Stacy's death. With Peter working for the Daily Bugle and a masked Spider vigilante swinging around the city, she comes back to see about her old friends. Harry and Peter make nice around her despite the fact they know eachother's secrets.

Jackie Earle Haley as Adrian Toomes/Vulture
A criminally insane murderer locked up in Ravencroft, Adrian is a mass murderer arrested for an attempted plane hijacking. Harry finds Adrian as the perfect volunteer to try out a pair of mechanized wings made from the same material as Doc Ock's tentacles. Unlike Octavius, Adrian agrees to the proceedure on the condition that he makes some upgrades. By the end of the film, Adrian is seen in the line-up for the Sinister Six with newly upgraded versions of the OsCorp. wings.

Jamie Foxx as Max Dillion/Electro
After Harry assembles what he believes is a team fit enough to take down Spider-Man the lights in OsCorp. suddenly go ut and Electro materializes. Electro assures Harry that the team won't happen without his involvment which brings an evil smirk to the face of Harry.

Aubrey Plaza as Betty Brant
Not much for this fil in particular just a worker at the Daily Bugle.

J.K Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson
Because no one else in my opinion can fill his shoes. I tried recasting him in every direction possible but I don't think J.K can be replaced.

Good choices :)
Aubrey could bring some nice comedy to the role and Holland would make a fantastic Mary Jane.
She pretty much plays Gwen in Teen Wolf (the super smart pretty girl) but I could see her playing a bombshell like MJ.

@CookieKid247

Peter Parker/Spider-Man Andrew Garfield to me he is Spider-Man now, certainly a much more better Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire ever was

Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn/Green Goblin yes after TASM 2 he has shown me why he has made the role his own so to see him come back for the 3rd would be even better

Felicity Jones as Black Cat is pretty much set in stone

Same goes for Flash Thompson

But as Mary Jane Watson I would go with Rachel Hurd-Wood as MJ because if you have seen her work she actually embodies the character and not to mention she is a red-head as well but also she can act too or Lily Collins would be my 2nd choice as MJ

As Vulture, I would go with either Timothy Olphant in the role or John Malkovich, most likely Malkovich because he would embody the role of Vulture and not to mention he makes such a great villain too especially if you have seen any of his movies not that Jackie Earle Haley would make a bad Vulture, he would make a good one but just not who I would have went with

Jamie Foxx as Electro, he definitely would be my pick for Electro all over again 1000 times over because he was perfect in the role

Michael C Hall Dexter Morgan himself as Doc Ock, he would be perfect as Doc Ock now that I think about it

As Betty Brant, I would go with Anna Kendrick in the role

And as J.Jonah Jameson, if J.K. Simmons were not coming back as J. Jonah then Hugh Laurie would be my pick

I like it. My personal choice though for Doc Ock is David Morrissey from The Walking Dead. I always imagined Jackie Earle Hailey as Electro in the past before Jamie Foxx was casted. Vulture I see being played by ether Jonathan Banks or Bruce Dern. Michael C. Hall I can see as Carnage.

I was a huge fan of Dexter so I keep standing by my choice for MCH as Doc Ock. Jackie Earle Haley is a great actor that could definitely pull off Vulture. I seen your fancast and I honestly like David Morrissey for Doc Ock. For some reason I couldn't comment on your fancast so...
