The Amazing Spider-Man fancast

The Amazing Spider-Man fancast

to be honest, I like this more than my initial fancast.

I was going through looking up different things for the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man like casting and direction. After seeing the rumors with Shailene Woodley and lists of who should play Mary Jane, Who should play Harry Osborn and Who the villain should be. There is one direction I really liked and I think with the cast that I was putting together from these lists, ect. I think I've found a great cast for the sequel that could possibly top The Amazing Spider-Man.

Obviously you have the returning cast

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man

He was, in my opinion, obviously great in the role and that is putting it lightly. This is the role that was made for him.

Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy

She has amazing (no pun intended) chemistry with Garfield and It was one of the biggest strong points of TASM and she was as fun to watch as Garfield was.

Rhys Ifans as Dr.Curt Connors

He was my favorite part of TASM, well next to Garfield actually. He really captured the heart and soul of the character. Sure, Martha and Billy weren't in the movie but even without those two he was a strong character and I think it's hard to not see him coming back for one of the sequels.

Sally Field as Aunt May

Who didn't like Sally Field as Aunt May? My favorite scene with her in it is when she snaps when Peter tells her to go back to bed. For me, that was a very emotional scene, it put a lump in my throat and I just thought it was really great. Hopefully she will have a bigger role in the sequel.

Chris Zylka as Eugene "Flash" Thompson

He's not someone that necessarily needs to be in the sequel but I think it would be nice for a return. Even for just one scene.

New Characters.

Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson

I haven't seen her in anything yet, but from the trailers I have seen of The Descendants I think she could pull of Mary Jane very well if given a good script and if she has chemistry with Garfield.

Michael Angarano as Harry Osborn

I think Angarano is a very talented actor and is someone who can really show the vulnerable side to Harry and is someone you believe despite how rich he is, he's the best friend of Peter Parker.

John Malkovich as J.Jonah Jameson

Malkovich is the only actor I could think of that is very talented and can be very good in the role, possibly come close (if compared) to J.K Simmons as J.Jonah Jameson. I think he would suit the role well.

Daniel Craig as Norman Osborn, dying (use prosthetics, sorry for the misspell) and healthy

He's a very good actor and can play a ruthless character very well. What I meant by healthy is that Osborn is mentioned to be dying in The Amazing Spider-Man, so if he got cured by a character in the sequel then maybe he could be played by Daniel Craig. It would be interesting to see him play the father of Angarano and I think have him become the Goblin at the end of this movie and set him up for the third installment as the big baddie.

William Fichtner as Adrian Toomes/Vulture

Keep the cross species genetics for the first Amazing Spider-Man film for The Lizard. I would have this version of Adrian Toomes be an Oscorp employee on the brink of loosing his job, he develops a flight harness that could be used by the military but he decides to keep it for himself. Going broke he considers becoming a theif. He is brought in by Norman Osborn to become the Vulture by using the mechanical flight harness and is hired to take out Spider-Man. Spider-Man eventually defeats Vulture, but in the end of the movie Norman becomes the Green Goblin and kidnaps Gwen Stacy. Spider-Man goes to save her but fails, thus having the night gwen stacy died in the film without pushing for it to happen. William Fichtner is a good actor and I think can do the character justice. I think he would be a good fit for the character.

Explanation for end of film: Okay, you just got done reading the vulture part of this fancast right? Okay. I think by having Norman becoming the Green Goblin at the end of the film and kidnapping Gwen after Peter stops The Vulture would be an intense scene. We get the scene from the comic in the film where Goblin tosses Gwen of the bridge, Spider-Man saves her but accidentally breaks her neck. He mourns her at the end of the movie while being comforted by Mary Jane. Thus leading into a very serious, dark, violent third film. Where Spider-Man searches for the Goblin, they battle a couple different times through out the film. Peter and Mary Jane develop a more romantic relationship, the Green Goblin goes to do the same to Mary Jane as he did to Gwen but Spider-Man stops him. They battle it out but the Green Goblin dies at the end of the fight. The third film ends on a high note as it is implied that Peter and Mary Jane end up together with Mary Jane hitting that famous line of hers "Face it tiger, you hit the jackpot". Now, how would all of this tie into "The Untold Story"? Well, I'm leaving that for the screen writers.

Just putting in Gwen's death like that is an I justice to her character and his lazy. I think that Norman Osborn shouldn't even appear until the ACS (after credits scene) of TASM2. Green goblin should have stages. The higher the stage the more monster like. I want the first stage to act like Green Goblin from Spiderman the last stage a brutal killing machine similar in appearance to the Ultimate Green Goblin. Gwen should be killed by an earlier stage Green Goblin. Peter quits being spiderman and then comes back for revenge after seeing all the other damage Green Goblin has made. Next trilogy Peter is with Mary Jane and Peter faces villains that need to appear on screen. In the sixth movie Green Goblin should return now even more powerful. He ends up killing Aunt May and Spiderman. Then a Miles Morales trilogy and the last movie features the return of Peter Parker and him and Miles Morales go up against the Sinister Six.
