The League -
Mina counterpart: Harriet M. Welsch (
Harriet the Spy) - Interested in espionage since an early age, Harriet is now a high ranking agent in the FBI.
Quartermain counterpart: The Man with the Yellow Hat (
Curious George) - Falling into a deep depression after the death of his pet and best friend; "Curious George", The Man with the Yellow Hat spends his days in a drug fueled state roaming around public zoos, terrorizing young children with unintelligible stories of his former colleague.
Invisible Man counterpart: Kevin McCallister (
Home Alone) - Due to traumatic experiences involving an attempted burglary and his unorthodox response to it, Kevin has turned into a highly paid assassin, who may be just a little insane. After killing a pair of petty thieves known as either "The Wet Bandits" or "The Sticky Bandits", Kevin was given the option of working for the government or spending his life in jail. Naturally, he chose the former.
Captain Nemo counterpart: James (
James and the Giant Peach) - Along with his insect friends, James is now a professional adventurer having been everywhere from the bottom of the ocean to the heights of the Himalayas in his giant flying fruit.
Mr. Hyde counterpart: Max (
Where the Wild Things Are) - Resigned to a mental institution after multiple claims of being able to communicate with "Wild Things", Max is discharged on a temporary basis in order to assist The League.
M counterpart: Charlie Bucket (
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) - An eccentric millionaire with many philanthropic interests, he complies The League after a rare species known as the "Vermicious Knids" attacks one of his most beloved factories.
The Plot -
The recently elected President Damien Thorn has ignited nuclear war with the middle east, creating a multidimensional rip allowing various monsters including the "Vermicious Knids", "Heffalumps", "the Hoboken Chicken" and many others to terrorize the Earth. Harriet M. Welsch is sent by FBI head Frank Hardy to assist Charlie Bucket in assembling a team to meet this threat head on. But all is not as it seems when it is discovered President Throne has allied himself with the Grand High Witch to bring upon the Apocalypse and the League must operate out of government jurisdiction.
