Here are some of the fruits of the Ultimate DC Team's labor so far.

So what is Ultimate DC? In short, Ultimate DC is:

"A project where a team of enthusiastic fans reimagine the DC Universe. We follow the bold step DC Comics took with the New 52 and take the concept even further. What if the DC Comics heroes and villains were recreated with no restrictions? That is what we want to explore, injecting our passion as comic fans into a reimagined DC Universe. We create a DC Universe in creative steroids, exploring new horizons for the characters we love. We take the characters to their limits and amplify the potential that has kept them alive for decades."

These images are provided to spark your interest and work as teasers for things to come. More images and the first short stories set in the Ultimate DC universe coming soon!

We hope you enjoy our work!

Some of them look pretty cool, but why is everyone blowing smoke? And what's with the question mark in the Batman symbol?

Hello, I (MisterHessu) wanted to use the smoke as a unifying element in the posters and to create mysterious atmosphere. All of the characters are partially hidden by the smoke which represents their hidden sides and mysteries. The question mark reflects the Riddler being prominent in the movie concept.

I gotcha, I like that smoke effect. Honestly, these look pretty nice. The Birds of Prey and Superman are the weakest ones though.

Bird of Prey doesn't have any real design to it, it feel too linear.

The Superman, maybe up the contrast, along with the words too, they get lost in the poster.
