As you read this Fan-Casting, you should know that this is only a tease on what is about to come.
I'm writing a full "Batman vs. Superman" story, that leads to the "Justice League" movie. I'm also writing the JL movie story.
So until that will be up, here's some fan-casting for my JL movie.
Cast:
Henry Cavill – Superman
Well, it's not like they will recast him, right?
Don't get me wrong, I love Cavill as Superman.
Ben Affleck – Batman
Unlike most people. I actually really OK with Ben playing Batman. It just clicks very good in my head.
Gal Gadot - Wonder Woman
Yes, the one that if I could have I would change, but I guess we can't change this now. But I really hope that Gal will be a great Wonder Woman.
Chris Pine - Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Finally, now some real fan-casting.
I don't know there is someone out there that even liked the "Green Lantern" movie. I personally hated it. But I got to say, I think Ryan Reynolds did a good job as Hal Jordan. So if they decide to not ignore that horrible GL movie, and keep Reynolds, I will be OK with that.
But it they decide to recast, I think Chris Pine needs to be Green Lantern. It has to be Hal Jordan, not John Stewart, not Kyle Rayner and not anyone else. If you are doing a JL movie, you need Hal Jordan.
So you guys let me know, do you think they should keep Ryan Reynolds, and try to fix that horrible GL movie, or should they do a reboot, and go with Chris Pine.
Garrett Hedlund - Flash (Barry Allen)
First of all, I choose Barry Allen as the Flash, because I think that like Hal Jordan, you need the original Flash in the JL movie. And Barry is a really interesting character.
As far as the casting, I like Garrett Hedlund. He was OK in Tron, and he was really good in "Inside Llewyn Davis". And now there are talks that the WB wants him for the Peter Pan movie. I think that he can do a great job, but to be honest, to do a really good casting for Flash, is really hard.
And a little tease, I got an amazing storyline for Flash in my movie.
Jason Momoa – Aquaman
Now I know that everyone will say: “Hey, doesn’t Aquaman have a blond hair?”. Well, he does. It’s very easy to change an actor’s hair color. I really think that Jason Momoa could be a great Aquaman. He can be a bad-ass, and bring much needed intensity to the character.
This guy was amazing as Khal Drogo. So I think this guy can pull it off.
I know that people will give a lot of shit for this casting, but I just want to say to you guys, I think putting Momoa as Aquaman could be an out-of-the-box casting.
Peter Mensah - Martian Manhunter
Yep, I want some Martian Manhunter in my JL movie. I got a great storyline for him. Since there will be lots of CGI and motion capture with MM, I wanted a great actor to have a great face for a Martian, and I think is the man for the job.
I can't tell you who is the villain, but tomorrow I will put my "Batman vs. Superman" story here, and there you will find out who will be the villain of the JL movie.
