Rick's season 4 finale line "They don't know who they're screwing with"
Fade in to Terminus a couple months before the Season 4 finale episode. The residence are outside enjoying the sun like it's one big family barbeque. Children are playing together while Mary is cooking some meat on the grill. Truly a safe haven. From around the corner, a man and woman who look absolutly exhausted approach Mary. Everyone gives the couple a friendly look. Mary puts her tongs down, wipes her hands on her apron and approaches them.
Mary: "Hello there, my gosh my gosh you two look absolutly exhausted. Welcome to Terminus."
Five beats of silence pass. A beautiful little girl approaches the man and hands him a flower. The woman he's with smiles at her. Then at Mary. Mary signals them to come closer. Walking out of frame we see Gareth standing in a door frame quietly starring at Mary. As the couple passes by Mary she looks back at Gareth who looks at her with grim intent. She smiles. It's disturbing. The little girl smiles at the newcomers as the camera moves backwards...
CUT TO:
EXT. TRAIN CAR - MONTHS LATER
GARETH, along with three other armed Terminus residence and an unarmed female approach the familiar train car. The female is carrying a box of old powdered milk and slightly rotten fruit. Gareth opens the car door...
INT. TRAIN CAR - CONTINUOUS
Light from the opening door shines on the opposite wall. Two men stand outside the door while Gareth, one of the armed residence and the female enter. Slowly.
Gareth: (whistles sharply) Morning sunshine, care for some bed n' breakfest?
Gareth takes the half-box holding the powdered milk and fruit off the female and drops it abruptly on the ground in front of him. From the shadows a face comes closer. Appearing from the shadows is Rick Grimes. He's quiet but from his expression you can tell he's anything but happy. Gareth sparks a smile. Rick slaps Gareth which sends him backwards a bit. Gareth attacks back by punching Rick; knocking him down. As Rick turns to stand the three armed soldiers take aim at him. Gareth spits on the packaged powdered milk/fruit.
Gareth: Don't worry, your time will come.
Gareth pauses. Observes past Rick.
Gareth: For all of you.
We see the silhouettes of the rest of Ricks group standing in the background. The female and the armed guard walk out, followed by Gareth. He takes a final look at Rick who stares right back. Gareth chuckles, grabs the handle and slams the door.
Cue the title sequence
