*UPDATED* ACCESSing a new Superman Movie Costume

I have updated my design for my Superman "movie" costume. Here's a sketch and the colored version of it.

I'm trying to get in the mindset of Nolan in designing this, considering that he is involved in the next Superman movie. The though of trying to tie down the design of the character to as much of reality as possible. I gave Superman a spaceman kind of vibe. Altered his classic costume a bit. My philosophy in redesigning iconic characters are that they should have atleast the same silhouette as their classic/iconic counterpart.

I've removed the brief part of his costume, that's always the first one that makes Superman a bit hokey. What I did is integrate the red part of the boxer on to his costume. Added more dark red into his costume. I didn't want to give Superman an armor for his costume much like what batman has now in the movies. So my thought is still that his costume is still made of spandex like material but it should be layared. That there is this first layer that is the dark red portion of the costume, then the next layer which is the blue part and the other designs. I really tried to make Supes look functional.

And I'm picking Josh Hartnett in playing Superman for the next movie.

Though I still think Routh would have still been the best choice, but seeing that they might not get him back I think Hartnett will be a good replacement. He has the height, the square jaw, the squinting eyes and he can act.
