Who and what I would like to see in an Avengers sequel

I would like to see in the Avengers sequel, Namor the Sub-Mariner declare war against the humans...

I would like to see in the Avengers sequel, Namor the Sub-Mariner declare war against the humans.

S.H.I.E.L.D calls upon the Avengers to help fight against Namor, and they also send in a robot name Ultron to assist them.

Ultron wasn't initially designed for combat, but that changed once Nick Fury convinced Ultron's creator Hank Pym that teaching Ultron to fight would be for the good of the world.

Captain America, convinces Namor that continuing to wage war against the humans would only cause destruction for Atlantis.

Even after Ultron stops fighting,his violent nature still continues to grow. Then the Avengers begin to realize that they have a bigger problem than the Atlanteans


Now here are the new additions that I would like in an Avengers sequel.



Johnny Depp as Namor the Sub-Mariner



Aaron Eckhart as Hank Pym




Olivia Wilde as Jan Van Dyke




Michael Clarke Duncan does the voice of Ultron




Ali Larter as Carol Danvers

Okay, so let the fan casting criticism begin!

Aaron Eckhart...? No, would not work... In my opinion.

I am okay with Depp, and..

Love the Olivia Wilde pick.

MCD as Ultron..? I dont see his voice being the right fit.. I think it should be whoever plays Hank Pym's voice, just distorted.

Ali Larter is a good selection, but I perfer Yvonne Strahovski.

I'm not a huge fan of Eckhart as Pym. Especially if you're going to have the 27 year old Wilde play Janet with the 43 year old Eckhart. I do like the Wilde choice though as well as Depp as Submariner just due that the fact that Namor is going to be a hard sell and Depp would give it some star power. Duncan would be a good choice if he just wasn't the voice of Kilowog.

I like olivia wilde...she is a great choice. Don't really like depp. He does not scream namor to be...David Boreanaz is my choice. Ali would be great, but i would like Adrianne palicki, yvonne strahovski or rachael taylor

@Legacy Hank Pym is considerably older than Janet van Dyne. The age difference is appropriate when compared to the comics.

@LegacyAr I don't have a big problem with one Actor playing a role in a DC and Marvel movie to be honest with you.

I don't believe that they are going to ever have a big budget live action DC And Marvel Crossover movie.

Johnny Depp as Namor? that would never happen and I personally think it's a terrible choice, you might as well have picked Eddie Murphy

who could pull off the role and look their part.
But these big names choices come off as quite uninspired. So, I don't like your cast.
Your story, surprisingly, sounded solid.
Definitely would like to see that story on screen.

love em apart from your hank pick id like to see Patrick Wilson or Nathan Fillion in that role. plus the voice of Ultron really should be the same voice as Pym but more robotised. all in all good work, do a third one id like to see who you would cast as vision or panther

Fillion is the best and only choice for Pym.

Quinto is the best option for Namor especially considering Depp is to be pushing mid to late 50's before a sequel is even in progress makes that a terrible choice.

I don't see Wilde the way everyone else does apparently. I don't think she is much of an actress and as far as looks go, she is just meh. She is the new version of Saldana, Worthington, Fassbender or McAvoy being tossed in as the new "IT" actor for every role in these fancasts.

sad thing is I really like Eckhart but i just don't see him as Pym. he is too close to what i would envision Cap looking like when he is older and that makes the suggestion odd to me.

Wilde is just meh? She is gorgeous!

Depp doesn't look like he's in his 50's now. Who knows how he would look like when they decide to make Avengers sequel, he might look the same, he might not.

If I had to pick who would play Namor right now, I would pick Depp.

dude, Wilde is not that hot. she has a stronger jawline than Aaron Eckhart, look at the pictures up their for proof, plus she has the Paris Hilton body. i'm not saying i would kick her out of bed, i just don't find her anywhere near as attractive as she is made out to be.

Depp is too old. there is no questioning that. 10-12 years ago, i wouldn't argue the point at all, but right now or better yet in probably 3 years he will be way too old.

I don't really understand the age thing. If Depp is in his 50's but looks like he is in his 30's, what's the problem with him playing Namor?

Is it that some people would rather have a young guy that could play it like Tobey McGuire did or what Chris Hemsworth is doing? Or is everybody afraid that Namor will look too old?

honestly i don't see imposing in Depp at all and Namor needs that in my opinion if he is going to be set up as a villian to start and then an Avenger. he needs to be younger and strong looking. i am not discounting acting ability, but when I look at Depp i don't see Namor.

age isn't really the factor it is just miscast. RDJ is pushing 50 now and i have no desire to see him step down from playing Iron Man, the reason for that being is, i can't see anyone but him in the role. and when he was first announced as Stark i instantly saw him as Stark with Depp i don't get that.
