A couple of hours ago someone posted these pics of Young Justice Invasion toys, and i notice some pretty interesting things.
First of all, no artemis. Could this mean that artemis is the mole? and one of the two character that leaves the team? In my opinion... she is, i think when she got into the team she provided intel to sportsmaster and at some point she stopped, and in future episodes the team is gonna learn who's her daddy and their gonna turn against her. After that she's gonna leave the team and in the final confrontation against the light she'll find redemption by giving her life and rescueing the team in a similar way terra did at the end of the second season of Teen Titans.
New costumes. The team got new costumes we see robin in a new costume that makes really hard to remember that he's dick grayson when he looks exactly like tim drake. Superboy got long sleeves and some really cool gloves. Miss martian got a haircut that makes her look more mature(i hope she gets more mature too, cause im sick and tired of her catchphrase). Aqualad got a brand new armor, i'll weight on this later cause i think it plays major part of the story.
New team members. So in season two we'll get at least two new team members, blue beetle (one of my favorite DC characters ever, because i'm mexican) and lagoon boy one member of the team in the comics. Great to see more diversity on the team besides aqualad and artemis.
Back to aqualad's new look. Have anyone notice aqualad's armor it's pretty much the same armor black manta wears?
This makes me think that on the final episodes of this season aqualad will find out the truth about black manta and leave the team fearing some of his daddy's evil nature resides in him, leaving robin as the leader and a spot open for another guy with gills on the team (that would explain what's lagoon boy doing on the team). Another two possibilities are that either he is the mole or that he is just wearing some kind of atlantean armor to fight off the invasion.
Who's invading. I think the invader is none other than darkseid, using the light as a pawn in their invasion and using the starro part from downtime as a control device.
That's my two cents, and don't worry i bet kid flash will be a part of season two cause you can catch a glimpse of a yellow arm with a red glove.
