This film will be a huge production that combines the stories of the Power Rangers film series and the two Kamen films. The beginning of the movie will establish some background for two of the most important characters in the film. About thirty years or so ago, Lexian (of Kamen fame) was a Ranger with the Galaxy 108 team. His Lord, Toei, was one of the most respected in the entire universe. The Master of the time, Saban, gave Toei’s team a very specific order that would affect the lives of millions. The planet of Oez was radiating high levels of dangerous radiation, which would kill the passengers aboard any ship that would pass by. To ensure the safety of all others in the universe, Saban ordered Oez be destroyed. Deployed were seven teams of Rangers. Toei’s team was one of those seven. Lexian, strongly disagreeing with this ideal, abandoned the Rangers and took his “morpher” with him (this being the source of the Kamen powers). Toei reluctantly followed his orders. After the destruction of Oez, a massive energy was released and lost into deep space. After the event, Saban resigned and passed his lead down to Toei. This past will end with the beginning credits. During the credits, Tommy Oliver will be shown sending out the other five “morphers” to find new Rangers. After the credits are over, three of the five “morphers” will return to Tommy (these being the blue, red, and black Rangers’ “morphers”). The pink and yellow Rangers, then, have been found, which Tommy will later track down and bring to the “command center.” Tommy apparently has had little luck over the past few years with his Rangers (in his misery, he will talk to himself and make references to other Rangers that he has recruited that have failed to be successful). The story will then turn to a martial arts school that Rocky and Adam have opened in Leawood (see how things are already being connected?). During one of their classes, Tommy will walk in and sit to watch. After the class is over, Tommy pleas with Rocky and Adam that he needs them to become Rangers again. The two are reluctant, but they are eventually swayed. After this, Tommy asks them to help him track down the two new Rangers. One of them (the new pink Ranger) is Katherine "Kat" Hillard, who is all the way over in Australia waiting tables in a diner. The other, Tanya Sloan (the new yellow Ranger), is from southern Africa and works as a housekeeper. The two have always dreamed to be more than they are and are glad when Tommy and the others come knocking at their doors. Tommy doesn’t bother to look for a replacement for the blue Ranger (he knows that Billy won’t throw himself back into the Rangers and that finding a replacement is no longer possible). After all of the catching up and meet-and-greet, the film turns back to the driving story. Deep in an uncharted galaxy, Rangers are protecting and researching a strange and powerful energy. The energy is rumored to be the mystic Zeo energy (the name given to the energy that was released by the destruction of Oez). During an unexpected attack, a ship breaks through and flies straight into the heart of the Zeo energy. The ship is piloted by the former ruler of Edenoi, Count Dregon. In the very center of the Zeo energy, Dregon finds a solid chunk of rock. Dregon sucks the rock into his ship with a tractor beam. After a somewhat extended period of examination, Dregon becomes impatient and crushes the rock with a hammer. This act releases the full extent of the Zeo energy and rips a hole in the space/time continuum. After this, the whole universe goes to Hell. Lord Zedd is revived by the Zeo’s mysterious energy and his power is fused with that of Dregon, creating a being of limitless power (Zedd is given control over Dregon’s body and uses it to his liking). On Earth, the newly assemble team of Rangers find themselves unable to “morph” as the Zeo energy has fried their “morphers.” On Edenoi, the Edenoites have lost the crystals from their foreheads and their telekinetic abilities. The entire universe is struck by the Zeo’s energy, causing historical changes and destruction. Dregon/Zedd’s first big move is to attack the Rangers’ base at Galaxy 1993. The attack destroys most of the base and kills almost all of the Rangers. Toei was lucky enough to be away at the time of the attack. Tommy, confused by the sudden malfunctioning of the “morphers,” takes his team to what’s left of the Ranger base. Once there, the Rangers encounter a fleet of space pirates that are looting the floating scrap. Other teams of Rangers have come to fight off the pirates and Tommy aids by blasting away with their ship’s lasers. The pirates are easily run off, but the defeat by Dregon/Zedd stills hangs heavy in the air. Toei tells Tommy and the others what has happened. While aboard the space station, Tommy tells Toei that he no longer wants to be the team’s leader. Toei understands and promises that Tommy “won’t have to worry about that anymore.” Toei helps the Rangers with their “morpher” problem. Toei gives Tommy and the others a set of “morphers” that had been recently constructed. The “morphers” were hit by the first wave of Zeo energy, giving them more power than the team’s old “morphers.” Toei points out that they are one Ranger short. “Let me introduce you to your new leader,” Toei says to the group as Jason Lee Scott steps into the room. This being the first boon to be given by the Zeo’s energy, Tommy is shocked and relieved to see Jason alive again. This changes things a bit: Rocky is now the blue Ranger, Adam is now a green Ranger, Tommy is now the red Ranger, and Jason is now the gold/black Ranger. This new team is sent with specific instructions from Toei: find Lexian. “Lexian or whoever now has his “morpher” will be able to aid you in your mission.” When the Rangers arrive on Edenoi, they are met with a harsh welcome from King Lexian. Lexian still disagrees with the Rangers for Saban’s choice all of those years ago. However, Lexian agrees to help clean up the mess that Rangers have made. After introducing the Rangers to Dex, Lexian tells them what he’s been up to since he left the Rangers. The Rangers learn that Edenoi is the planet where the Alpha droids are built. When they learn of this, Jason asks if Lexian may be able to build them an Alpha. Lexian is unable, but he has Dex do so. Dex, using the Alpha memory banks, builds a droid that is an exact copy of Alpha 5. The Rangers and Dex soon set to work, leaving the planet to seek out Dregon/Zedd. As the seven are exiting the planet’s atmosphere, another wave of Zeo energy ripples through the universe. This one completely destroys Edenoi and everyone on it. This hits Dex like a ton of bricks, but also weighs heavy on the Rangers’ shoulders. What if the same thing had just happened to Earth? The wave also releases another person from the Rangers’ past. The Rangers’ ship picks up an intruder on a lower deck. Tommy goes down to investigate and finds the intruder: Tommy Oliver. Tommy and the evil, green Ranger form of himself duke it out, brutalizing each other with no remorse (Tommy hated himself when he was the green Ranger and takes that anger out on “himself”). Tommy, in a rage, kills the other Tommy and launches him out into space. It’s not too long before the Rangers and Dex encounter a new, twisted foe. Rito Revolto was long dead before the Rangers ever had to face Rita, but, due to the Zeo energy, he is alive and well and has his sites set on the Rangers. Rito is little match in the seven-to-one situation, but he manages to hold his own. After defeating Rito, the Rangers quicken their search for Dregon/Zedd. The longer they take, the more likely it is that they will come across similar enemies. In the mean time, Dregon/Zedd is hunting down all of the remaining Rangers and eliminating them. With a simple flick of his wrist, he can end a life. With every wave of the Zeo’s energy, Dregon/Zedd becomes stronger, which gives more reason to destroy him quickly. When the Rangers learn that Dregon/Zedd is hunting down Rangers, they decide to meet up with the rest of the Rangers and have Dregon Zedd come to them. Meeting on the planet of Khal, all of the remaining Rangers prepare for the coming of Dregon/ Zedd. During their wait, another Zeo wave passes through the universe and unleashes another familiar face. Zordon visits Tommy during the short time of his revival (Zordon will appear as his actual form in this film). Zordon instills confidence in Tommy, trying to make him believe in himself again. Zordon’s time is brief and, when the next Zeo wave passes through the universe, he is swept away. When Dregon/Zedd arrives, he splits himself into hundreds of copies of himself. This army attacks the Rangers while Dregon/Zedd watches from his ship. Jason, as the team’s leader, volunteers to go after Dregon/Zedd. Jason jumps into a small transport, but, just as it gets off the ground, Tommy jumps on, throwing Jason back to the ground. “You’ve already died once!” Tommy speeds towards Dregon/Zedd’s landed ship as fast as he can. Surprising to Tommy is when Dex sits down next to him in the transport’s cockpit. Dex has a high stake in this; it is his uncle that caused all of this. Tommy and Dex arrive at Dregon/Zedd’s ship and are met with little defense. Inside the ship, Tommy and Dex confront Dregon/Zedd. The two fight gallantly, but they have little luck with the power of two. Again, a Zeo wave passes through the universe. This time, it transports young Toei from the past to Dregon/Zedd’s ship. Having little choice, Toei joins in the fight. Even with the three of them, they are not much of a match. It is with the next Zeo wave that the battle finally comes to an end. A strange Ranger is released from the wave. This Ranger delivers one heavy blow, stabbing Dregon/Zedd through the chest, ending the battle. The Ranger removes his helmet, revealing himself to be someone very familiar. Tommy confuses the man for his old college professor, but the confusion is greater when the man gives his name as “Thomas Oliver (this being a Tommy from an alternate universe, which we know is the Tommy from the original show).” This “Tommy” soon disappears, as do all of the other changes that resulted from the Zeo’s energy (that includes Jason and the power of the new “morphers”). The film ends with a somewhat touching moment when the five Rangers drive off in the “zords” from Turbo. This is kind of like the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” of Power Rangers, eh?

@LEEE- I loved it as a kid. Now I'm just obsessed with my vision for it more than the show itself.

@blade40 and SUPERBATSPIDERMAN- I don't know if the two of you have read my other Rangers' plots, but if you're interested just click on the link to my fansite at the top of the page and check out the Rangers' plots and the Kamen plots; that's the "FU" pic.

I could see Blake Lively as the next Pink Ranger. If she can do a Southern accent in "Elvis and Annabelle", I think she can do an Australian accent.
