... I do have ideas of where to go from here, but I'm already reaching pretty far into the future here. :P

Onto the main casting...

*NOTE: I AM AVOIDING THE USE OF ACTORS THAT HAVE ALREADY PLAYED OTHER SUPERHEROES/SUPERVILLAINS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE*

CAST
Superman (Clark Kent)
Henry Cavill

What needs to be said? He's Superman!

Batman (Bruce Wayne)
Matt Bomer

Matt Bomer was not the first guy I looked to for Bruce... but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense to me. He can easily pull off the playboy facade that Bruce puts on... He's already in pretty good shape, and has the frame to pack on muscle... He's right around Henry Cavill's age, and he actually even kinda resembles the guy. I'm sure some of you will know that there have been moments in both the comics and animated series where Bruce and Clark have been able to stand in for one another due to their similar looks. My only reservation is that I'd really want to hear his Batman voice before giving him the "OK". But I suppose you can say that about any actor.

(Let's face it, as cool as Jon Hamm might be as Bruce Wayne, the man sounds very unenthusiastic about the idea. Just wanted to get that out of the way...)

The Flash (Barry Allen)
John Krasinski

Krasinski fits the Barry Allen personality perfectly. He's the nice guy. He's the "good cop". He's not supposed to be a badass. That being said, he's no pushover. He's got a lot of heart and determination. It's just that he's not completely sure of himself or his powers. Standing next to a seemingly invincible alien, a warrior demigoddess, a fearless space cop, a member of oceanic royalty, and a tragic billionaire, Barry Allen has gotta be the most relatable dude of the bunch. I'd imagine his character would really share perspective with the audience.

Wonder Woman (Diana of Themyscira)
Bridget Regan

This role is by far the most difficult to cast. It's not common in Hollywood to find a woman with a body-type befitting of an Amazonian princess. Male actors are all about beefing up, but females tend to aim petite. And even if you find a particularly buff actress, she may not quite suit the personality of Diana. Bridget Regan, as far as I can tell, fits the character. It's hard to tell if she has the chops to handle a role of this magnitude, but I'd certainly call her in for an audition.

Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Jensen Ackles

Hal Jordan is an idiot. Don't get me wrong... he's intelligent... but he's an idiot. He has no fear. He'll attack Darkseid head-on, get his arm broken in half, put a hard-light cast over it, and --without skipping a beat-- charge right back at him... all the while Batman's yelling at him to retreat. Hal's crucial to the team dynamic. He's the guy you want there to shake things up. He's got that Han Solo type of brash yet charming personality, and in my opinion, Jensen Ackles is the kinda guy you need to pull that off.

Aquaman (Arthur Curry)
Alexander Skarsgard

Now, if one were to ask who the darkest character on the Justice League is, the answer you'd probably hear is "Batman". But I am completely serious when I say that Aquaman might give him a run for his money. The dichotomy of this character is extraordinary. He's a man torn between two worlds that exist on the same planet. Two families that both carry their own bevies of problems, yet he can never seem to stop himself from serving as a loyal ambassador to both his heritages. Skarsgard really pulls off the look of a disparaged hero. In fact, he actually looks slightly inhuman. It sure would be cool to see this guy tear apart some nasty-ass eel creatures in badass trident fashion.

Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz)
Giancarlo Esposito

Giancarlo is a phenomenal actor that would no doubt nail the calm yet powerful presence of J'onn J'onzz. The audience would go freakin' nuts to see this guy show up in an after-the-credits sequence. I know I would.

Secondary casting is to come in the future... :)

- Henry Cavill has a way to go to impress me (his take on Superman was too gloomy). I hope they build upon Superman in the next films.
- Matt Bomer wouldn't be bad as Batman. I loved him as Superman, and he's better than Tyler Hoechlin.
- I think John Krasinski would be great for Flash. Someone casted him as Henry Pym, and I wouldn't mind it at all!
- If Bridget can bulk up, then I would accept her as Wonder Woman. She was great as Kahlan in Legend of the Seeker.
- Interesting direction you want to take Hal Jordan. But what do you think of Josh Duhamel? That is, unless you're casting young, then that's another story.
- Giancarlo Esposito would be cool for MM. What do you think of Lance Reddick or Harry Lennix? They've got great voices as well!

All in all, a great cast! No complaints! By the way, would you mind checking out and commenting on my Deadpool cast?

Nice cast!

-Henry Cavill is the perfect Superman, IMO.
-I like Matt as Batman. My personal choice is Sam Witwer.
-For a long time, I thought John was about 39, but then I looked him up and he's 33! Wow! Had no idea. Anyways, I can see him as Barry. My personal choice is Mike Vogel.
-Yes to Bridget!
-I could definitely see Jensen as Hal.
-SKARSGARD FTW!!
-My personal choice for MM is Lance Reddick. Never going to change.

Great work!

Not especially keen on your proposed story lines, but your casting is more or less spot on!
The only thing I would be concerned about with it would be Bomer's ability to kick ass, he doesn't have to growl 24/7, but he needs to appear mysterious and menacing under the cowl.

Yes I have been companying for John Krasinski as Barry Allen for over 2 years now!

Our JLA casts are similar I think in terms of how we want the characters to be presented. You nailed Hal Jordan, I have been trying to explain to people for awhile now that the way you described Hal is how he is and should be.
Anyway, Matt Bomber has a bit of a Dick Grayson vibe to him than Bruce Wayne, but he's too old for Nightwing now. I'd have to see a little more of him before I'm convinced of him as Batman.
This is quite the cast, a movie that I would enjoy the heck out of! Keep up the good work!

Awesome story and awesome cast.

Can't get behind your Batman choice. Maybe if you swapped him with Hal.

I really like your Martian Manhunter pick. Giancarlo Esposito is such a great actor and would own the role. I do not really like Bomer as Batman he just seems too pretty boyish I want Batman to be big and tough. The rest of the cast is solid.
