Allison Williams Up For The Role Of Invisible Woman In FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot?
We have our first official tidbit on potential casting for Fox's Fantastic Four reboot, as Girls star Allison Williams (who just landed her first major starring role in Rosaline) is reportedly on a shortlist (likely for Sue Storm/Invisible Woman) for the film.
With production reportedly beginning in June, it's rather surprising that there are not any cast members locked down for 20th Century Fox's upcoming Fantastic Four reboot (that we know of, anyways). However, we have our first solid news on somebody being considered for a role in the film. In a brief section on its article reporting her casting in Rosaline, Deadline notes that Allison Williams (HBO's Girls) is on the short list for a role in the F4 reboot, which will be directed by Chronicle's Josh Trank. "I’ve heard Williams is also on the short for the Fantastic Four reboot, which is in the very early talking stage," the site states. There's no mention of which role she would be up for, but Williams is most likely being considered for the role of Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, who was played by Jessica Alba in 2005's Fantastic Four and 2007's Rise Of The Silver Surfer. Yesterday, a rumored logline for the Fantastic Four reboot (which has a March 5th, 2015 release date) leaked online, which has since been debunked. Do you think Allison Williams would be a good Sue Storm?
