FANTASTIC FOUR Fan Art Transforms THE SUICIDE SQUAD Star Margot Robbie Into Invisible Woman

Following rumours that Margot Robbie (The Suicide Squad) has been offered the role of Sue Storm in Fantastic Four, some new fan art reveals what the actress could look like suited up as the powerful hero.

When will the Fantastic Four casting rumours end? Right now, your guess is as good as ours! We've been bombarded by them in recent months, with Adam Driver supposedly tapped to play Mister Fantastic, Margot Robbie considering an offer to star as Invisible Woman, and Paul Mescal all but a lock for the Human Torch.

The Little Mermaid star Daveed Diggs is also a possible contender to play The Thing, despite some baffling claims about Mila Kunis being eyed for the hero.

An official announcement in time for July's San Diego Comic-Con makes sense, but Robbie playing Sue Storm is something many comic book fans would love to see become a reality. While she's best known for bringing Harley Quinn to life in the DCEU, the actress would be a terrific Invisible Woman and no doubt do the team's most powerful member justice on screen.

Now, new fan art offers an idea of what she could look like suited up as the matriarch of Marvel's First Family. Robbie looks phenomenal here, that's for sure, and this pretty much proves she would be a perfect choice for the role.

The latest round of rewrites have likely been halted by the WGA strike, so we don't know what sort of impact that's had on pre-production and Marvel Studios' plans to get cameras rolling on a project they're clearly keen to get right.

After all, every other Fantastic Four movie has been a flop and if this team is going to be an important part of the MCU moving forward, director Matt Shakman needs to knock it out of the park with this reboot.

Fantastic Four is set to be released in theaters on February 14, 2025.

I know this isn’t a Guardians article but I really enjoyed GOTG V3. Might be my favorite MCU flick since Endgame. Still think Gunn can trim a bit more from his movies… Volume 2, TSS, and Vol 3 all have a bit of fat on them where I am ready for it to end earlier than it does.

Still really enjoyed the movie - it’s a cliche at this point to say his movies have heart but it’s always in the right place. [frick]ing loved Cosmo in this movie… she had me cracking me up.

It somehow feels like she's too big a name to take on the role, but no doubt she could be fantastic in it.

@MosquitoFarmer - I agree. Somebody talented, but a little less no one would be great. Like a Hermione Corfield. Maika Monroe. I would rather my superhero start off is not a list. Make it there off the work their work here.

I like Margot Robbie but I would like someone different for Sue Storm. I’d rather Ro. Or play someone like Rogue in X-men.

I’d prefer someone more “bookish” and maternal in the role rather than a woman as hot as Margot. In order for this third reboot of F4 to be different, I was hoping they were going for married/parent versions of Reed and Sue.
