So I'll add how I'd reboot Fantastic Four

So the other day a guy wrote a "How i'd reboot the Fantastic Four" and I realized I never added mine. So I'm going to do that.

So never before have I been so sure the Fantastic Four would be added to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but where the heck do you add them and how? So I've got an idea. I actually wrote a treatment and I go back and forth with it but here it goes.

Instead of changing the characters, making them young make it a flashback.  I think the entire story should be told from the point of view of a college student discovering the Negative Zone. He realizes how to do it and there's an accident. His professor then points him to a dusty video of a guy that first opened that portal and used it for space transport. The Guy reid richards is a super millionaire philanthropist scientist. Super famous. Think Bill and Melinda Gates. This really industrious college student (maybe Cho?) finds the video where they first opened the portal and in the video he sees Victor Von Doom and Reid Richards working together and opening the portal back in lets say the 80s. This of course is crazy because Doom is the dictator the People's republic of Latveria. I'm thinking a mix between Putin and Kim Jong Ill with a metal mask.

The college student is able to meet with Reid Richards and it becomes a flashback to richards telling the story of the FF when they were in college first meeting his friendship with Doom before the accident. His roomate Ben Grimm and Sue Storm who is his wife now. She would be doom's girl friend before Doom gets hurt and then falls for Reid.

The student leaves. at home he investigates the story and when he returns he has hard hitting questions about his relationship to a dictator, why he never opened the portal again, and why did his best friend, Football star, and Military Pilot Ben Grimm disappear from the face of the earth. The whole time there's a giant rock statue in the back ground that begins to move and calls the kid out about him not being dead and exlaming that he would been the top pick in the draft. The kid faints and when he wakes up Reid tells a dark story about how he became obsessed with using the negative zone as a method for space travel (think Event Horizon, you cut a hole in space to move from 1 side to the other, where you are in that hole that gap is the Negative Zone) Richards loses all funding goes kind of crazy and tricks/cons Johnny (racecar driver) Sue and Ben into helping him 1 last time before he gets psychological help and becomes a professor.

Reid puts on another old video this one shows them in a ship then turning on The Negative Drive that pulls them in the ship through a portal into the negative zone. Once inside the ship is attacked by giant flying bugs and they begin to be assaulted by raise that are painful.  The ship is jostled and everyone is thrown around they are in pain as rays from the Negative zone are pummeling them. Reid reaches the controls and the ship lurches and then stops in the middle of outer space and the video shows a planet being eaten by something and a much larger even more frightening thing in the distance that seems to notice them as Reid now passing out hits the button again.

It then flashes to Reid telling the story of how they land in the middle of the pacific ocean they were taken in by the US military but that they began to change their bodies were changed by the negative zone and basically they have powers. The military hides Grimm because he's deformed and says he's dead and Grimm agrees. They form a group working with the US government to continue using Reids powers to investigate the negative zone and it's consequences for space travel and other things. Reid signs the deal if he can patent any technology he finds or invents from his discovery and they say yes. Reid explains that's how they got rich.

Then a story about how they go in fight Annihulus but he's too powerful and these alien monster their butts and last minute the freedom fighter Von doom shows up and helps them and they defeat the monster.

Sue comes into the room and helps tell that part of the story.

This whole time there's a hostage crisis in latveria and it's all over the news. Doom took an American television crew hostage. At some point the Television crew films a group of Masked Doom Soldiers explaining that they will not return the crew until "the person that destroyed his face" comes to Latveria.

The College student sees the video and goes to confront Reid. But he's gone. The final scene shows Reid In an office with Doctor Doom.

"You know what I want" Doom

"i'll bring you back there Doom, I owe it to you" Richards

"You owe it to Johnny"  Doom
