According to Variety and Deadline, casting for 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four reboot is finally picking up speed. The Hollywood trades report that the studio and director Josh Trank are testing Game of Thrones' Kit Harington, 26, and 300: Rise of an Empire's Jack O’Connell, 23, for the role of Mr. Fantastic aka Reed Richards, while Miles Teller, 26, is also still in contention. As for Invisible Woman aka Sue Storm, Saoirse Ronan, 19, Kate Mara, 30, and Margot Robbie, 23, are all being tested. Also, it appears that Chronicle actor Michael B. Jordan is still likely to play Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, because he's the "only name being mentioned as a possibility," notes Variety.

However, no decision has been made and Fox "still needs a script to give an official greenlight," which likely explains why X-Men: Days Of Future Past co-writer and producer Simon Kinberg was brought on board, as reported last week. And there's still no word on who could be playing Ben Grimm aka the Thing, or the unknown villain of The Fantastic Four reboot. Anyhow, Marvel's First Family is currently scheduled to return to the big screen on March 16, 2015. What do you think?
