DOCTOR DOOM Solo Movie In Development At 20th Century Fox With LEGION Creator Noah Hawley

There's not a whole lot to go on just yet, but it seems that Legion and Fargo creator Noah Hawley is developing a movie at 20th Century Fox involving Fantastic Four villain, Doctor Doom.

Right at the end of tonight's San Diego Comic-Con panel for Legion, Hawley announced that he was working on a new project, which he would only give a brief, but very telling hint about: “I’ll just say two words. The first one is Doctor and the next one is Doom,” he said.

According to THR, Hawley is writing the script with an eye to directing it himself.

It seems this all came about when the studio was unsure how to proceed after Josh Trank's disastrous 2015 Fantastic Four film, and rather than reboot the property again, they decided to focus on the fan-favourite antagonist. The spin-offs may not stop with Doom, either, because rumor has it Seth Grahame-Smith is working on a movie featuring Franklin Richards, the son of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Girl.

We'll update as soon as we find out more about this, but for now be sure to let us know what you think of this news in the comments section.

@CaptainAmerica - Agree only people pissed are die hard comic nerds who have not seen either show. None of the shows were completely accurate but it still attained the essence of the source material like what Nolan did with his batman trilogy.
