I have always liked stories about Greek gods, as long as its not campy. You know? Who likes cheesy stories of Mount Olympus? No body that's who. But with 'Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief' coming out next month and 'Clash of The Titans' a few weeks after that I would say my Godly Greek appetite is going to be filled nicely.
After all, our super heroes we love and cherish today would have been nothing if it weren't for the ground work laid by the Gods!!!
These Percy Jackson character one sheets are cool.
Drum role please! And now the money shot!
Here is the breakdown:
"‘Daughter Of Athena’ (that’s Alexandra Daddario’s Annabeth Chase), ‘Son Of Poseidon’ (that’s Logan Lerman’s Percy), ‘Warrior Guide’ (Pierce Brosnan’s Centaur, Chiron), ‘Fatal Beauty’ (Uma Thurman’s Medusa, sporting quite dodgy extensions) and ‘The Protector’ (Brandon T. Jackson’s Grover), it took us ages before we could name ‘The Exterminator’. And even then, we’re guessing… We //think// it’s Dionsysus, played by Luke Camilleri, but frankly we can’t be sure. Call us old-fashioned, but with a relatively unknown quantity like this, shouldn't character (and actor) names be included on the posters?"
Yes they should but beggars cant be choosers, so there. Will this movie be a hit or a flop? Sound off below by voting or voicing your opinion in the comments section. We will find out for sure February 12 2010!
