6 New 'Percy Jackson' Character Sheets!

Be the first to check out Uma Thurman as Medusa with these new Character Sheets from 'Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief.'

I have always liked stories about Greek gods, as long as its not campy. You know? Who likes cheesy stories of Mount Olympus? No body that's who. But with 'Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief' coming out next month and 'Clash of The Titans' a few weeks after that I would say my Godly Greek appetite is going to be filled nicely.

After all, our super heroes we love and cherish today would have been nothing if it weren't for the ground work laid by the Gods!!!

These Percy Jackson character one sheets are cool.

Drum role please! And now the money shot!

Here is the breakdown:

"‘Daughter Of Athena’ (that’s Alexandra Daddario’s Annabeth Chase), ‘Son Of Poseidon’ (that’s Logan Lerman’s Percy), ‘Warrior Guide’ (Pierce Brosnan’s Centaur, Chiron), ‘Fatal Beauty’ (Uma Thurman’s Medusa, sporting quite dodgy extensions) and ‘The Protector’ (Brandon T. Jackson’s Grover), it took us ages before we could name ‘The Exterminator’. And even then, we’re guessing… We //think// it’s Dionsysus, played by Luke Camilleri, but frankly we can’t be sure. Call us old-fashioned, but with a relatively unknown quantity like this, shouldn't character (and actor) names be included on the posters?"

Yes they should but beggars cant be choosers, so there. Will this movie be a hit or a flop? Sound off below by voting or voicing your opinion in the comments section. We will find out for sure February 12 2010!

Many thanks to Empire for providing the images.

I actually quite enjoy Harry Potter every now and again. This might be good but i guess we'll see. It has just as much chance as shamalamalavatar: the last windbreaker.

Why is it that Hollywood can go years without touching on a certain character or subject matter? Then within a couple of months we get 2 movies dealing with Olympian Gods.
If the first one out is any good, the second one is called a bandwagon movie.

If the first one is bad, the second one is almost certainly doomed.

Haha! Wow these posters look terrible! I mean the Uma Thurman one obviously looks Photoshoped, I mean the snakes just blend in, they're not growing out of her head it just looks superimposed. And the Exterminator, what's with the finger ring from Hot Topic?

I'm skipping this one.

This movie doesn't look interesting enough to me. It seems targeted at the tween set as its primary group which is fine, its just not me.

@airbeyonder: The protector isn't a half-god, he's a mythical creature in his own right, a satyr.

Just picked up the books to see what it is all about. Mediocre writing, fun story, should be easier to adapt to screen than the Potter franchise. Although, the first book has the main character at 11 years old, so looks like they're bumping up the ages for the movie.

another movie were the white kid is the hereo and gets the girl at the end and black boy is the trusty sidekick who comes up with the stupid jokes oh well the CGI looks ok.

Just joking, this movie could be good.

Saw the trailer for this and I thought it looked cool. I know its based on books because my little sister was reading them over the summer.
@Shaman. I liked Harry Potter except the last book sucked horribly in my opinion the first seven chapter was nothing but talking then the storyline progressed. Also the final fight with Voldemort was pathetic and rushed. Also in the last movie that just came out Half-blood Prince they ruined the ending there was suppose to be a big fight at Hogwarts. It was my favorite book and they crapped on it...

InstigatorGIRL- I don't read books. No time, no patience. But i enjoy the films... except for the last one. The first five films were awesome because they could all have been taken as individual films. The last one was a shitty continuation attempt with a lame introduction and an insult as the ending. It was really crap. Plus it's funny cause my girlfriend said the exact same thing as you did. Where the hell was the huge fight??? Oh and Jackie Chan as Mr. Miyagi is as insulting as it gets!!! Chow Yun Fat should have gotten it!
InstigatorGIRL
InstigatorGIRL - 1/6/2010, 1:03 PM
Agreed. But more insulting is they are remaking Karate kid. The trailer pissed me off for some reason. Also they are trying to do a sequel to Wizard of Oz... That bothers me.
mwmcintyre
mwmcintyre - 1/6/2010, 1:12 PM
Being bothered by a remake of Karate Kid is understandable, I don't get the hate for Chan though, Shaman. Jackie is the one redeeming factor of the idea, IMO.

InstigatorGIRL:Why would you be bothered by a sequel to Oz? you do realize Frank L Baum wrote a whole series of Oz books, right?
luffycapri
luffycapri - 1/6/2010, 1:30 PM
lol I was just joking about what I said you all.

Wards - Whats up with you and balls man, not every one is gay like you man. Do us all a favor and put a cock in your mouth, knowing you probably like it. lol
InstigatorGIRL
InstigatorGIRL - 1/6/2010, 1:34 PM
@mw I'm aware I read them in elementary school. The storyline they are describing didn't happen in the books. I wouldn't mind so much if it was from the storyline. Like if it was Dorothy coming to stay in Oz. Or if it was the adventures of some of the other characters, but they are creating a whole new one and it bothers me they have source to do a good story and they just reach up their ass for a story that most likely will suck. Story we can all relate to huh?

I enjoyed the sequel to Wizard of Oz, those guys with wheels for hands and feet freaked me out, along with the hallway filled with heads for the queen scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.
