Variety have yet another Paradise Lost exclusive. They report that young Callan McAuliffe has joined Bradley Cooper, Ben Walker, Casey Affleck and Djimon Hounsou in Alex Proyas' upcoming epic..
McAuliffe will play Uriel, one of the first seven archangels created by God. When Lucifer (Cooper) rebels against God and Michael (Walker) is named commander of Heaven's army, the dedicated soldier Uriel becomes his second in command.
McAuliffe, 16, most recently appeared in the fairly awful
I Am Number Four and is currently shooting Baz Luhrmann's 3D adaptation of
The Great Gatsby. The cast for this one has really been coming together recently with most of the major roles now being filled. Still unconfirmed are Diego Boneta as Adam and Camilla Belle as Eve.
