The brutal and bloodthirsty King Hyperion and his murderous Heraklion army are rampaging across Greece in search of the long lost Bow of Epirus. With the invincible Bow, the king will be able to overthrow the Gods of Olympus and become the undisputed master of his world. With ruthless efficiency, Hyperion and his legions destroy everything in their wake, and it seems nothing will stop the evil king's mission. As village after village is obliterated, a stonemason named Theseus vows to avenge the death of his mother in one of Hyperion's raids. When Theseus meets the Sybelline Oracle, Phaedra, her disturbing visions of the young man's future convince her that he is the key to stopping the destruction. With her help, Theseus assembles a small band of followers and embraces his destiny in a final desperate battle for the future of humanity.

@Thereaper27 I agree with most of that. I really only wanted to see it to see if Cavil could actually act because I need him to play Supes well so it's successful.

I also just wanted to see the Gods be badass. I was disappointed that they portrayed the titans the way they did. As just the size of regular men but quicker and stronger. They are TITANS, they are supposed to be huge.

I also wanted to see Zeus face off against his father Cronos but they made all the Titans look the same.

Overall the movie wasn't great but I actually liked it overall and I'd pick seeing the Gods fight over 300, which I got over after seeing it once.

Battles were nicely choreographed. That's really all it has going for it. Really. I mean really. Really.

Sorely disappointed in the Titans. They all looked the same and stupid. If the olypians can all look different why can't the Titans? Which one was Oceanus? Tethys? Coeius? Cronus? Crius? Rhea? Themis? You couldn't distinguish a single one. And seemed like a cop-out that Hyperion turned out to just be a mortal man. Stupid. I was holding out hope the entire movie that the guy would turn out to be possessed(at the very leased) by the real Hyperion-since Hyperion is one of the actual 12 titans. I thought that's what was drawing him to such a mad scheme as to unleash the titans.

I enjoyed this despite knowing well it was a load of nonsense! Decent acting, visually stunning, nice n violent. I also didn't like how it was all made sort of "realistic" in a way. Minotaur not really a bull head etc.

I agree the best part was the fight between the Gods and the Titans. Henry Cavill's speech before the fight was "meh"

Yeah, I'll probly still buy this Bc its a Greek myth film with a harass godly.fight scene, but other than the fights, my man crush (caville), and Frieda Pinto's business, then Meg. And tarsam singer's visuals were pretty spectacular. Ehh... hated and loved it.

But I agree with Ror , the God fight negates any realism so the Minotaur should have been full blown half manbeast like wrath of the Titans.

GUNSMITH@ Dont tell me thats from the movie? The costumes and the fact that titans are the size of normal human beings makes it look fan made. Choreograph looks nice thou. I have a feeling Wrath of the Titans is going to be better than this.
Only think so far i dig about this movie is the dark tone and violence.

Yeah! The Speech of Cavill before the fight was just 1% intense compared with the speach that William Wallace (Mel Gibson) gave in Brave Harth also before the fight (even the speech from Morpheus in Zion before the naugthy dancing in MATRIX RELOAD)
