Evangeline Lilly, who will be starring in Marvel’s Ant-man playing Hope Van Dyne, sat down with Total Film and discussed how she really got to know and was proud to play her character, Tauriel in The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies, ”I've had an amazing time figuring out with them who she is. I think that she is a character that for the rest of my life I'll be really proud to have played. The idea of being a part of cinema history is really exciting."

After this she took the time to praise all the writers who worked on the film, calling them ‘collaborative’ and ‘generous’, "This team of writers - Peter, Fran [Walsh] and Philippa [Boyens] - are the most collaborative, open, generous team of writers I've ever encountered in ten years in the business.” She then continues, "From the very beginning, they said, 'We've scratched out what this character's going to be, but we actually haven't made anything solid because we're waiting to see who we cast. And hopefully that person will help us build the character,'”

The The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies stars Luke Evans, Ian McKellen, Lee Pace, Evangeline Lilly, and it is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on December 17, 2014 (December 12 for the UK). This film is directed by Peter Jackson and is the final film in the Hobbit trilogy. Are you all set to see this film? Sound off below with your thoughts!

This final battle brings to an epic conclusion the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, Thorin Oakenshield, and the Company of Dwarves. Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, the Company has unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world. Enraged, Smaug rains his fiery wrath down upon the defenseless men, women and children of Lake-town. Obsessed above all else with his reclaimed treasure, Thorin sacrifices friendship and honor to hoard it as Bilbo's frantic attempts to make him see reason drive the Hobbit towards a desperate and dangerous choice. But there are even greater dangers ahead. Unseen by any but the Wizard Gandalf, the great enemy Sauron has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain. As darkness converges on their escalating conflict, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide: unite or be destroyed. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends in the epic Battle of the Five Armies, as the future of Middle-earth hangs in the balance.

She is pretty but no gorgeous, she kind of reminds me of Oliva Munn. That being said if I had a remote chance of being with her I would it take it in a heartbeat.

Love her character, but she's playing someone similar to her Kate character being involved in a love triangle.
