Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend. Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.

This movie looks better than the other about the Roman demigod Hercules. However, Dwayne Johnson as Hercules is a miscast.

I was hoping to watch him land The People's Elbow as he jumped off the tree onto the gigantic wild boar. But The People's Spiked Club will have to do.

Looks like Ratner is tapping into that Inception trailer formula but he went a bit overboard with the horn. He played it over lion roar and Hercules' scream at the end.

I'm thinking the huge lion is a legend as well as the other creatures but the truth is he killed the one he was wearing. Sorta like a the truth behind the legend line.

Am confused. The description says the story starts after his 12 labors but all I saw in the trailer are clips of him doing the labors. Can somebody explain why they say the story's after the labors and show specifically the labors !?
