If you're a fan of Luke Evans, than all these new images of him as Bard the Bowman in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug must be quite a thrill. Bard, is a pivotal role in the books, as his archery skills and his bloodline help to defeat the Dragon Smaug. As for the actor, he is a very busy boy of late. He landed the lead role in The Crow remake, playing Eric Draven, and he is supposedly up for the role of Batman in the Man of Steel sequel. Competing for the part against his Hobbit co-star, Orlando Bloom.
