Eons after the Gods won their mythic struggle against the Titans, a new evil threatens the land. Mad with power, King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) has declared war against humanity. Amassing a bloodthirsty army of soldiers disfigured by his own hand, Hyperion has scorched Greece in search of the legendary Epirus Bow, a weapon of unimaginable power forged in the heavens by Ares. Only he who possesses this bow can unleash the Titans, who have been imprisoned deep within the walls of Mount Tartaros since the dawn of time and thirst for revenge. In the king's hands, the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man's conflict. They remain powerless to stop Hyperion...until a peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill) comes forth as their only hope. Secretly chosen by Zeus, Theseus must save his people from Hyperion and his hordes.

Immortals will be released on November 11 later this year.

"That's right, I'm not just Theseus, I'm Superman, bitch."

@SelinaKyle ~ Nolan and his wife Emma probably slapped Snyder around when they saw his story boards. Snyder is the right guy for the job, just need a guy like Nolan to keep him in check.

That chin is sexxxy! He should grow a beard around it leaving only the tip exposed in a neatly shave cirle. In just the right lighting, it could look very impressive.

So this will be Clash Of The Titans with a lead actor who can actually act?! Good. I shall await this eagerly but may just be a blu-ray rental/purchase rather than a cinema trip.

Although, when you think about it, the plot is flawed right from the description up there.

"the bow would rain destruction upon mankind and annihilate the Gods. But ancient law dictates the Gods must not intervene in man's conflict."

That's a direct threat to the Gods, therefore it is not just "man's conflict" but theirs too. So by their own laws the Gods should be able to wade in and kick ass!

Still, could be a good movie.

I hope not, because Clash was bad.

@ naterator - I doubt that, when Sam Worthington has the acting talent of a door and is twice as wooden!! This could be a bad movie but at least the lead can act and it won't be seen as a direct comparison to an all time classic. It can only be a bad film at it's worst, not a bad film that has also just dropped trou and squatted over a cinematic masterpiece!
