The brutal and bloodthirsty King Hyperion and his murderous Heraklion army are rampaging across Greece in search of the long lost Bow of Epirus. With the invincible Bow, the king will be able to overthrow the Gods of Olympus and become the undisputed master of his world. With ruthless efficiency, Hyperion and his legions destroy everything in their wake, and it seems nothing will stop the evil king's mission. As village after village is obliterated, a stonemason named Theseus vows to avenge the death of his mother in one of Hyperion's raids. When Theseus meets the Sybelline Oracle, Phaedra, her disturbing visions of the young man's future convince her that he is the key to stopping the destruction. With her help, Theseus assembles a small band of followers and embraces his destiny in a final desperate battle for the future of humanity.

Like I said before, Tarsem makes visually amazing stuff. But this doesn't look that good from any other standpoint and Cavill didn't impress me either. Mmm.

clearly a great number of you are unfamiliar with tarsem. this looks nothing like 300 and everything like the fall. and do your research before accusing genuine artists of copying stuff... tarsem singh's visual style was blowing minds long before snyder's clanging, soulless sack of ripoff hit theaters.

and like i said this morning... one of the movies snyder ripped off for 300 was the cell!

I love Greek Mythology. I think we should actually get more of those stories turned into films, great films that stick to the original story. I like the look of this.

It comes out all the way in November? I thought it would be this summer. Oh well. I'll watch it either way. Plus, it will prepare me for Superman by seeing Cavill's acting style on the big screen. I'm pretty excited about this.

Lmao. 300 was an incredibly shitty movie with over the top CGI and choreographed fighting. Tarsem Singh is directing this, and the man is a goddamn genius when it comes to not only making his own style, but also perfecting it further with each film he makes.
