So, this is a watered down version of Fables? Would rather see HBO adapting Fables than this crap. Musicals suck.

@neobaggins
This movie is actually based on a popular musical that came out on Broadway in 1987. All these other reimagined fairy tale movies and the show Once Upon a Time are actually ripping off this musical. I'm not really into musicals, but I've seen this and it's really pretty good. Funny too.

No, sir, I don't like it. Too much work and photoshop went into them. Too many corporate notes about things. I prefer the simplicity of a the poster of next year's break out Broadway hit "Rampage of the Stegosaur":

The Prince... The Other Prince. Lol Need to come up with better names for these character posters than that. Seriously. :P

Anyway, Meryl Streep for Agatha Harkness, Scarlet Witch's tutor.

With Scarlet Witch coming next year, the good ol' Aunt Aggie needs to be in the MCU soon, either in Cap3 already tutoring Wanda, or introduced during Dr. Strange.

@dethpillow- As far as revised fairy tales, I prefer this myself.

I want to see an animated series based on this sooo badly. Pure genius. What better vampire slayer can there be than one who grows an unlimited supply of stakes at the drop of a lie.

Is Johnny Depp's character really a wolf or is he just wearing a wolf-inspired suit?
I mean, he can't be a real wolf. His face isn't the same color as his hands (paws?).

It's a funny comic too.

@dethpillow completely agree with you in regards to Fables. As for musicals, they usually turn out wrong. Only two I really like are Moulin Rouge (magical realism with Nirvana/Police/Elton John/Beatles covers - excellent) and (and I'm not ashamed of it) The Sound of Music - well edited, the singing is an integral part of the story and the songs are quite catchy. Apart from that... Nah, find the singing distracting and forced.

i laugh in the face of whoever thinks this is a watered down version of anything, or just a bunch of stories put together
yo, do some googling before sounding like an idiot
that being said i'm excited about this and i didn't realize they were animations either, they did a pretty shitty job at that
