The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Dominic Purcell - who's best known for his roles in Blade: Trinity and the TV series Prison Break - has been cast in the upcoming film Paradise Lost, directed by Alex Proyas and based on the epic poem by John Milton. The actor joins previously announced actors such as Bradley Cooper (Lucifer), Djimon Hounsou (Angel Of Death), and Casey Affleck (Gabriel) in the much anticipated flick.

Who do you think Purcell should play in the film? He seems like someone who can easily play a servant of Satan IMO, but who knows? Be sure to sound off your thoughts below in the usual place.
UPDATE: Thanks to
Coming Soon, we now know that Purcell will be playing Moloch,
'a former angel who, after falling, sides with Lucifer in the battle against heaven.' Many thanks to CBM user
