This movie is going to suck even more than the first one. Only cool thing about it is the flame effects on GR's head. Everything else? EPIC FAIL.

You guys have to realize something - Nic Cage is NOT a bad actor - he's a sell out.

Over done 98% of his movies just for the paycheck, with him phoning in performances left and right. Just because the vast majority of his movies suck, doesn't mean he wasn't incredible in Raising Arizona, or 8mm.

I'm really not sure what to think of this. GR was one of my favorite comics....the movies on the other hand.

I guess that I will hold my judgement until I have seen the movie.

Then I will drink a full bottle of whisky to try and forget what I just saw.

@sexymuppet - there's a difference between giving a role your all, trying your best and it still sucking, and KNOWING that your perfomance sucks and not giving a sh*t. I honestly don't think Cage gives a sh*t that his performances are bad - like I said, he's in it for the paycheck.
The fact that he was in Con Air means nothing. You could literally say that about almost any of his movies, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have the potential to give a good performance if he actually tries. Watch Adaptation, Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas, 8mm, Racing with the Moon, or Bad Lieutenant - Not a lengthy list, but if he was as bad as you say, he wouldn't have been capable of giving a good performance in ANY of those.

Ok, coming from a guy that really hated the first movie...this looks pretty awesome. I'll reserve judgement for the final product but my interest in this film just went up.

with GR1 it was set to be an origins movie and a conflict, now with GR2, its going to be a deeper conflict movie, and I haven't read anything of a flash back or redo of the origin, why can't the other big CBM follow their example and do it with their movies, just carry on the story, don't dip back in the story and retell the origin, it's really annoying and takes away from the story at times

The big thing for me is how the skull is bigger and more demonic looking. The flames have been reduced and the eyes are blacker. Overall Ghost Rider has a much more gritty look to him which is exactly how it should have been done in the first film.

Yeah, i prefered the first one's look. More girth, more spikes, more eyes, cooler esthetic flames, cooler bike.

Then again, the first one wanted Eva Mendez so it looses all respect i had for it.

Cage is not right for GR WHAT HAPPEND to the spikes. The bike looks I'll just say I like the first bike in GR1.I hope story is good this movie I THINK I'll rent first.
