I'm going to see this movie this weekend, mostly for Snake Eyes. I wish they would have done this movie more like G.I. Joes Resolute, where they were able to keep the characters basically the same from the cartoon and stay believable.

Any review i have read ..that's reputable! Says its a load of bollocks but still better than ROTF! So since i enjoyed ROTF on some levels, ill go see Joe.

As for Destro's mask..SPOILER....apparently he wears it in the last few minutes of the movie only.

Well I am glad to hear that I amnot the only one who stillplans on seeing it. But my expectations are so low that it may feel a bit like throwing my money in the rubbish bin.

They have 2 uniforms for Destro thus far.
His business suit, and his Field Uniform. Along with sand Viper.







Also...first look at Cobra Commander...I mean "The Doctor. he starts off as a US Army Scientist... gets blown up...survives, then becomes the Doctor for MARS, then becomes Cobra Commander.




Now the whole gang




Then The Doctor will look like this when he turns into COBRA COMMANDER:




To bad we dont get this Cobra Commander for the Movie. Its part of the alternative Gi Joe Rise of Cobra Line (meaning characters not in the movie/or in different uniforms).

@ ror thats pretty much what i expected, and cobra commander probably won't be the man until the end too.

@ darth i definately plan on seeing it. i'm holding any opinions until i actually do though.

and for the people making fun of this pic, if he didn't wear a mask at all, you would still be complaining that there is no mask. what did you expect a silver-faced helmet to look like? it can't look any more like the cartoon than that. too bad the rest of the movie doesn't look anything like it though. i'm still excited to see it though!

destro looks alright, movie will still suck. but i will still see it.


as for cobra commander why couldnt they just put a hood on his head it would have worked fine.

You know, another bright star in the midst of all this darkness is Chris Eccleston. He was my favorite Doctor of all time on Doctor Who. He's very charismatic and i enjoy his acting. So there's another good thing.

It...ummm....actually it reminds me of Metamorpho's face...crossed with the Silver Surfer. I am hesitant about this movie...I'll wait to hear more reviews...this will not be a movie I go to see on opening weekend.

District 9 looks like the one to beat for sure. Super gritty looking. Everything these cheddar popcorn flicks are missing. ROTF sucked horribly. 10 minutes in I was still wondering what the hell was going on.

yeah same here about District 9. That's the one I am really excited about as far what else is coming soon

There's actually a smattering of other decent flicks this fall and winter like
Inglorious Bastards, 9, Whiteout, 2012, Ninja Assassin, Avatar and Holmes.

I will definitely be hitting all of those.

@CorndogBurglar i agree completely, we're at the point where it doesn't matter if they start showing pictures of the characters looking exactly like they did in the cartoon because you guys want this to fail and won't accept anything, you guys should realise by now that its gonna be # 1 regardless what you think or do
