A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

Many thanks to General Joes for the heads up.

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, Bruce Willis and Ray Stevenson, G.I. Joe: Retaliation is set to hit theaters June 29th, later this year.

Why the hell wouldn't they put Snake Eyes in fron of Roadblock and Joe? Then have another poster with Cobra Commander and Firefly? I really am not intrigued by this shitfest.

@MARVELPSYCHO79 I couldn't agree more. I hated all the bright little lasers and ridiculous weapons in the first G.I. Joe (melting the Eiffel Tower? Really?)

I hope the official poster is like the first movie poster. With the Joes on the bottom and Cobra on the top.

I am pretty excited for this movie. This looks like a much better movie than the first one which I never hated except Channing Tatum.

The reason for Storm Shadow being front and center has very much to do with where this post will be. You usually see foreign asian actors front and center on these type of international posters.

Is it me or does Storm Shadow kinda look like Elvis durin' his 1968 comeback?

Bruce Willis is the shit! I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it's not as terrible as the first GI Joe. I don't know what age group they're trying to appeal to.
