UPDATE: Green Hornet Director Speaks About the Trailer and Fight Scenes

Director Michel Gondry has promised fans that they'll see the first trailer in the very near future; and talks about the fight choreography

"There's a trailer that's been made," Gondry told MTV News during the South by Southwest Festival. "It should be out in the spring or summer, actually."

"You see Kato and Seth deciding why they want to be crime fighters. Then you see images of their completion. It's pretty violent, but with a good spirit."

And despite the fact that things have been pretty quiet on The Green Hornet news front lately, the director was quick to assure fans that all is going well on the movie and the relationship between himself, Rogen, the studio and various producers couldn't be better. "It's a great collaboration. I really enjoy working with the producers. All of those guys happen to think very fast and make very random decisions, but they turned out to be successful."

Update: More from Michel Gondry courtesy of MTV News -

"There are many things happening at the same time," he said about the fight scenes. "There is an anticipation, a planning of the fight by the hero. He sees a different element he has to deal with ... he calculates the best trajectory to fight them."

"Then there is some weird change of speed that occurs at different parts of the frame in one single frame, which makes the dynamic of the image really weird," he explained. "I don't know — I tried to do something original. I don't know if it's successful, but I'm trying."

Can't wait for this movie.

Although many might hate on it cause of Rogen, i still think it could be good.

By the way. I dont mean to offend anyone, but what the hell was that guy saying

under the radar? it doesnt have a trailer yet.. not every director needs to whore theselves out with status updates and journals like snyder or these other bloated advertisers. He can promote AFTER the trailer...

@blankofthedead-It's pretty far under the radar for a CBM when a movie has been filming for 6 months after a huge string of delays. This movie needs some real hype to develop for it. Kevin Smith can only go to so many screenings.

Don't know what to expect from this movie. It could surprise me and actually be good, or disappoint me which at that point, it will just be joining a bunch of other CBMs. Either way I don't see it as an issue because it won't be a Blockbuster in terms of money (which means prob no sequel) and if it bombs it's not like they will be ruining the Green Hornet "franchise".

The Gree Hornet is suppose to be a Cool, Handsome guy thats more serious the Seth is. The Green Hornet is based of the Long Ranger I think, I saw a few episodes when I was younger. Bruce Lee Stole the Show ofcourse.

Based on these pictures, it doesn;t look so good.

Hopefully the Trailer will change my mind.
