It has a lot of potential, mayhaps it becomes as good as Batman TAS, and hopefully live as long.

hey,I recognize the voice of Kilowog,it's the dude who voices Bulkhead in Transformers Prime
looks funny, but I think Bruce Timm's style doesn't work too well in 3D animation.I love his work when it's in 2D,but here is kinda meh.

Funny how this is bein compared to the incredibles when by all accounts, incredibles is just a knock off of the DCU character designs from the animated series before it, simply turned into 3D animation. Remember the intro to Justice League? Still, looking forward to it, hopefully the show expands into the other colors of the emotional spectrum and the show will do great. If not, well I'll add to my collection anyway. Green Lantern is a great character, he just hasn't been tackled yet, trail and error people, gotta start somewhere. Or maybe it's just that Hal sucks. Much rather see John Stewart come back or Kyle Rayner.

You guys are all just being overly anal! this looks good! Yes, they could have gone with a better animation style choice but at least the characterization is correct and fathful to the comics, they're also depicting the corps as it should be; an intergalatic military esque police force.

I will be watching in full support of this show and the animation looks nothing like the incredibles. the only thing alike about the two are that they are CGI superhero animations; but look alike? No! It honestly just looks like Bruce Timm's style converted into CGI. Trust me, you'll all be back later with praise for this show. Well maybe not the marvel fanboys; they never give DC credit, even when its due.

I'm happy with this, looks really cool.
I agree with NextHero08 in that I do want to see this show expand out of the war with the red lanterns. But I'm really happy with this as it is!

I work on a cartoon doing animation, and trust me it could've looked a lot worse. There's some good talent in there.

For those expecting Incredibles quality... GET REAL!!! This is a tv show, not a motion picture with 4years to produce an hour and a half film. The animators have to work in a rigid timeframe to get the show out on time... they've probably got to make 15-20-30 seconds a week of animation versus the very enviable quota of 3-4-5seconds a week on a Pixar film.

The Bruce Timm animation looks good and there are some funny jokes thrown in. I think kids will respond positively to the show.

Lmao at those saying that the designs from The Incredibles are a knockoff of the DCU character designs. I hope you realize how ridiculous you actually sound.

I'm not sure where these people are getting The Incredibles from this, two completely different styles and The Incredibles actually looked great, of course it's Pixar so I wouldn't expect anything less.

This is just a 3D rendering of JLA basically, which I hate. Everyone looks the same the shoulders are way too broad to the point where it looks awkward when GL lifts his arms or moves in any fashion.

I like it and I'm intrigued. But then again, I like anything Bruce Timm does so I'm bias. It being a Green Lantern story is just icing on the cake (for me). The animation itself is reminiscent of Disney's "The Incredibles". Not a bad choice IMO. CGI looks great with fast action sequences, which like "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", "GL: TAS" seems to also include alot of that type of action. With that said, none of the animation quirks matter as long as the stories rock. Remember the '90s "X-Men" cartoon? The animation was God Awful, but the stories were "source material" accurate. I so hope they serialize most of the episodes like they did with the first two seasons of "Justice League". I'm not really into the whole "problem discovered/problem addressed/problem solved in 22 minutes" story telling anymore. I want my comic book animation to follow the story telling style of comic books. It's time for American animation to grow up. I know I'm nitpicking, as I have the DC direct to DVD movies, but I can wish can't I?

this toon..though unlike most of the posters here..i like the look, BUT...it just confirms what i'd been thinkin bout HAL JORDAN all these years.start wit

as an individual character..he SUX. the guy was dull to begin with, in the first place. now, after the success of RDJ's Iron Man, they keep tryin to make him cool and hip, but keep on failin. it somehow feels FORCED to me. as a part of a team (the GL Corps or JLA), he's probably adequate enough, but, standing alongside: Spider-Man, Wolverine, Superman, Batman, Iron Man, even Thor and Cap, he just doesn't compare. the others have very well defined personalities and world surrounding em. NOT Hal. not yet, at least.

all hope is not lost. but, they just gotta keep at it. FIND that right CHARACTER that's appealing and relatable. before, RDJ..or to be exact, the ULTIMATE version of Tony Stark, i've always thought Tony and his super hero identity to be DULL and lifeless. even Batman had only found the PERFECT live embodiment in Christian Bale. before, each actor who's portrayed him had only been able to get just ONE side of the character right. Keaton with batman, Kilmer with batman and Clooney with Bruce.

i have high hopes for Henry Cavill's Superman, next year...i believe Nolan and Goyer AND Snyder can actually pull it off, despite my objections to some of the main casting choices.
