Could The Rock be our new Green Lantern? I hope so, and this is why...Plus, I believe that we will get a GL movie in 2016...

you will see why I belive that we will get a Green Lantern reboot in 2016.

Now this Fan-Casting is based only on my hop for a Green Lantern, so please don't take it too hard if you don't like it. Anyway, enjoy...

I hope that the Green Lantern reboot will be in August 5, 2016. 
After the success of Guardians of the Galaxy and the return of Star Wars, WB needs to establish their own space movies.
The Green Lantern lore could be a great thing for WB, and we could finally see why Green Lantern is DC’s Star Wars.
 

Hal Jordan - The Rock


I personally hope that the Rock will be Green Lantern in the DCCU, but I don’t want him to be John Stewart.
I think Rock can be Hal Jordan (same character only different look, no hair, but lots of charisma). I think if the Rock stars in a Green Lantern movie, people will forget about that 2011 movie, and go watch the movie.
Besides, I think the Rock right now is the kind of actor that people will go and see his movies even if those movies are not that great.

Hal Jordan - Taylor Kitsch



Well if The Rock won't be GL, here’s another one. I don’t think Taylor Kitsch is a bad actor, I think he should kill his agent for casting him in some really horrible movies. I think is a pretty decent actor, and there is something about his voice that makes me think that he can be a great superhero. He was good in Savages and amazing in Lone Survivor,  and I think that he can pull off some great Hal Jordan.


Sinestro - Jason Isaacs


Or...


Sinestro - Idris Elba


I know that some people will say that he needs to play John Stewart, but I think it will be very cool if Idris will be Sinestro.
It will be interesting to see Idris Elba as the villain, and I think John could be great Sinestro.

Other than Jason Issacs as Sinestro, I'm not really digging this cast. Though, Jason Issacs would be great as Sinestro.

Yeah, The Rock has said a few times that he's not Green Lantern and basically confirmed that he's Shazam or Black Adam.

Jason Isaacs is the only person who should be allowed to play Sinestro. He even has the voice.

Keep Kitsch as Hal and Isaccs as Sinestro. Put Elba as Stewart.

Leave em like that and this is a mighty fine cast.

Jason Isaacs is perfect as Sinestro, perfect casting choice as far as I am concerned same goes for Peter Mensah as Abin Sur

Charles Dance as Ganthet is another perfect casting choice

As Tomar Re I would have went with David Tennant in the role and I love, love Ron Perlman as Kilowog, another perfect casting choice

As far as Idris Elba he should be John Stewart if anything and Olivia Wilde is another perfect casting choice as Arisia Rrab

But HELL NO!!!! The Rock I definitely cannot see him as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern please tell me you are kidding me about that? If anything I would rather Taylor Kitsch play Hal Jordan than The Rock

But where is Carol Ferris? The love interest for Hal?
