The folks over at Bablegum shot this short video that features a couple of kids re-enacting the scene from Green Lantern where Hal gets his ring from Abin Sur. Also there is a guest appearance by a Marvel character as well. Take a look:



Hal Jordan is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Good damn, the acting was brilliant!

The special effects were amazing; the CGI was seamless!

Is this the reboot already? If so, damn WB moves fast.

It's looks like they have a bigger budget too. That takes guts.

Truthfully, it was crap. But they are kids, so what are ya' gonna do? Loved GL, I hope they really do have a Director's Cut to make the movie even better than it was.

It was indeed amusingly cute. Maybe these kids should directed the actual film. It might come out to be at least a little better than what Martin Campbell gave us. LOL P :)
