The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that
The Green Mile &
Daredevil actor Michael Clarke Duncan has reached a deal with Warner Bros., to voice Kilowog in Martin Campbell's
Green Lantern adaption.
Michael Clarke Duncan is in negotiations to voice the character of Kilowog in Warner Bros.’s Green Lantern movie. While studios sometimes end up moving on, sources say Duncan received his offer Tuesday and is now negotiating.
Following the news of the first voice actor announced, Geoffrey Rush for the bird-like alien Tomar-Re, Duncan has notably provided his voice for Quiznos commercials, several video games, as well as the Kingpin in
Spider-Man: The New Animated Series. While we've spotted the brutish Kilowog in the trailer, what do you think of his voice actor? Perfect casting in my opinion.
Anyhow, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett, look for
Green Lantern in theaters June 17, in 3D!
