While on a visit to New Orleans, "Barry" sent the following images to SuperHeroHype. Although little is revealed about the movie, they do give another look at the Green Lantern symbol being used and the construction of a set. Any idea what it might be guys?

Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds in the title role and will be released in 3D on June 17th, 2011.

Oh, and it is a control tower, like InterestingJohn said. I might add that if Blake Lively becomes Star Shappire at the end of this film, it would surely occur there.

I actually like the logo oddly enough. As awesome as it is, I don't believe it is valid.

I only trust GL news from Multi. lol

Looks like The Green Lantern symbol is indeed the real RING that Hal Jordan (Ryan reynolds) uses in his finger on the movie. Maybe it could be a precise miniature of Oa Power Battery building design...

I don't know, I wouldn't count on this being changed, people said that about the raised superman returns logo...and that's the logo that appeared in the movie. It's just to complex of a design to be a throw away.

I don't know, if it's the symbol used for the guardians then it'd almost be a given that it's used on the other uniforms. I mean, in the comics the symbol they wear is the standard symbol so if they're wearing this symbol then it goes with out saying that it's the standard for the movie.

according to the new script... the scenes filmed are Senator Hammond and Carl Ferris reacting to a test flight... Hal and Carol are up in the air flying planes during this sequence... Carol does not become Star Sapphire in this film
