In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.
Things are certainly starting to amp up promotional wise for the Martin Campbell directed super-hero flick
Green Lantern. Just these past few days we've seen hand fulls of amazing new TV spots, our first clip featuring Kilowog, and some absolutely stunning behind-the-scenes featurettes, along with over 30 brand new images from the film released today. One question many
Green Lantern fans have been left wondering is exactly how long will the movie be? Recently there has been some speculation and some sites are reporting the film as being 105 minutes long.
Well a recent update over at the website for the
British Board of Film Classification states that the film will in fact be
113m 52s long. I'm not 100% sure of the reliability of the site itself but it seems like a pretty legit site and from what I've read they are reliable.
Thor was originally thought to be over 2 hours until
BBFC confirmed otherwise.
So what do you guys think? Is just under 2 hours long enough for a large scale movie like
Green Lantern?
Green Lantern Hits Theaters June 17th!!
