Not too long ago Hot Toy's released a "behind the scenes" shot of what seemed to be, work in progress for Guardians of the Galaxy team action figures.
With the recent reveal of Rocket and Groot's Hot Toys figurine, it is now the Legendary Outlaw's turn.
With 3/5ths of the team revealed, expect to see Gamora, and Drax's figures to pop up in the upcoming days before the Guardians of the Galaxy film releases on theaters.
Details on pre-order arrangements are still being wrinkled out, but it should not be long before more information is released.

The movie-accurate Star-Lord collectible figure is specially crafted based on the imaage of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord in the movie, featuring the newly developed head an interchangeable LED light-up masked head sculpt, highly detailed costume, weapons and accesories.

Pre-ordering at Ani-Com will include a 1/6th scale The Orb and a pair of handcuff as bonus accesories.

In the far reaches of space, an American pilot named Peter Quill finds himself the object of a manhunt after stealing an orb coveted by the villainous Ronan. In order to evade Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a group of misfits including Gamora, Rocket, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand -- with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

If Hot Toys figures weren't so expensive, I would have bought one. Star-Lord looks amazing though. Want that mask and belt!

@Bekss

I agree they are great. It just seems to me that they are just too expensive for their quality.

So does he ever wear the helmet in the movie?

@batz:

Based on the fact that we've seen him wearing it in at least 5 or 6 different scenes in the trailers, I'm going to be presumptuous and say yes.

I hope this character (Which I doubt it will bAsed off what we have seen)suffers the Thor issue with his helmet for two minutes in his three film appearences... It looks like he will actually wear his helmet/mask for many scens :)

So damn beautiful! I love the costume/uniform Starlord has in the movie, but is anyone else disappointed it's not similar to the one from the concept art?

I love the look of the guardians in the movie, but damn I wished Drax, Gamora and Star Lord looked like their concept art.

@DeusExSponge I'm with you there mate. As fun as the film looks, I think the costumes aren't the best. Especially after what we saw on the concept art. Groot looks like shit.

Venom0706 just check your local comic book stores, they tend to be cheaper if you don't buy them online, most of the price is just the shipping, and this will likely only be about $150 since it doesn't have as many accessories and he has regular clothes.
