Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

Question can Ronan be come back due to him being Kree or no? Also if he does return he should have his green costume.

Hopefully he isn't dead and was transported somewhere else. I know it looked like he got killed, but damn that would be a waste of Lee Pace and Ronan.

Many characters out there in space that can bring him back.

Boring, cliche, one-dimensional villain. Just like 90% of Marvel's villains.

If pink Kree do infact exist in the MCU, I hope they keep the purple eye characteristic to distinguish them from humans.

They should hire Lee Pace back to play Mar-Vell.

People here were apparently expecting a monologue/flashback to Ronan's childhood, explicitly stating in detail why he's so evil and intent on avenging his ancestors.

I'm usually the first person to talk crap about the MCU villains, but I found Ronan so hilarious compared with the whole movie.

Having Lee Pace go so over the top with villainy was great and he really sold it.

Dude had the most evil ship ever and villain monologues.

He might be my favorite villain in the MCU so far...kinda mad I'm in the minority on this one.

You know, I don't get the complaints about Ronan. Sure, he didn't have a whole lot of backstory, but did he really need to? I mean his motives were pretty clear and understandable, with him not agreeing about the peace treaty because he thinks it means that his father and ancestors died in war for nothing. He was also very menacing and was a good enough threat for a movie like this that needed to set up five main heroes without solo films. Way better villain than Malekith IMO

Ah, yes.. there seems to be a problem on my end as well. Don't worry, man, it ain't just you.
