From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team--the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits--Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon; Groot, a tree-like humanoid; the deadly and enigmatic Gamora; and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand--with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

He looks like the type of person that would hide in the bushes outside of a person's house for not particular reason.

On topic, I'm hoping for Cosmo and Adam Warlock for GOTG2. Actually, I wouldn't mind if Howard the Duck played a role in the sequel too lol

@Jaspion

They probably will. Pretty sure they both weren't able to come in for mo-cap on this film due to scheduling difficulties and also not being even cast yet when filming began.

I like Guardians of the Galaxy better than any of those stupid Star Wars prequels, that's for sure.

I'm actually surprised Vin Diesel was able to play Groot in the Brazilian Portuguese dub and many others. I didn't expected that from him, an actor I never enjoyed watching, to do such thing.

I confess: I was against him in any CBM, but now I think how awesome his Groot was. Really deep forjust three words...
