Karen Gillan's Nebula may have started off as a villain, but she's since become one of the MCU's greatest superheroes. As a member of the Guardians, Thanos' daughter has found redemption and regained the humanity she lost after the Mad Titan's heinous experiments.
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, we see even more sides to Nebula and her story ends on a really positive note. Prior to that, she gets to show off a whole heap of upgrades, but one early idea called for the character to look a little more human with the addition of hair.
Revealed by Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park, the designs in the Instagram post below harken back to Nebula's comic book appearance and would have been cool to see in the MCU. According to the artist, the idea was "considered" for a time before plans changed.
