GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Concept Art Reveals Several Different Hairstyles For Karen Gillan's Nebula

One of Marvel Studios' awesome concept artists has revealed some alternate designs for Karen Gillan's Nebula that would have given Thanos' daughter hair in the MCU, harkening back to her appearance on the page.

Karen Gillan's Nebula may have started off as a villain, but she's since become one of the MCU's greatest superheroes. As a member of the Guardians, Thanos' daughter has found redemption and regained the humanity she lost after the Mad Titan's heinous experiments.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, we see even more sides to Nebula and her story ends on a really positive note. Prior to that, she gets to show off a whole heap of upgrades, but one early idea called for the character to look a little more human with the addition of hair.

Revealed by Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park, the designs in the Instagram post below harken back to Nebula's comic book appearance and would have been cool to see in the MCU. According to the artist, the idea was "considered" for a time before plans changed.

Which of these takes on Nebula would you have liked to see in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova.

Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is now playing in theaters.

Guess they didn't have time to explain her having a wig, because there's no way she's growing hair on that cyborg head.

Went with the best design imo but they should've given her a full cybernetic eye like she got in the comics. From Rocket of course.
