Marvel Studios has released a new extended preview for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and it's packed full of emotion and the return of "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede.

There are a lot of humourous moments to be found, not to mention the promise of a "happy ending" for the team. That appears to be tongue-in-cheek, as it comes with the tease of romance between Star-Lord and Nebula. The biggest reveal, however, happens during a blink and you'd miss it action shot.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special established that Knowhere has become the team's new base. However, we see what appears to be The High Evolutionary's burning base heading straight for the Celestial's head, a possible hint the team's new home is going to be destroyed.

You'll also find some new shots of Adam Warlock blasting into action as he looks to take down the Guardians.

Check out this new teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 below.

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits are looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Gunn writes and directs Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter, and Maria Bakalova.

Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 arrives in theaters on May 5, 2023.
