By the Power of Greyskull! Sony Picks up He-Man

Warners and Mattel recently parted ways over their Masters of the Universe movie. It seems that Sony has picked up the project.

The guys from Empire have just reported this:

The projected new He-Man movie will be built again from scratch since Warners retains the rights to the screenplays produced for Joel Silver.



Unsurprisingly, the story is about a prince who becomes a warrior and battles Skeletor for his homeland of Eternia. No new writers have yet been assigned. The new producers for Sony are reportedly Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists, who were behind "Knowing" and "The Taking of Pelham 123." So they know the action, and they know the sci-fi fantasy, and they know PG-13. Interesting.

Now as far as I know those two movies sucked, so what do you guys think of the new team behind this?

i was doing a trial where i was prosecuting a guy for impregnating his niece. his defense was he was gay and she took one of his condoms out of the trash and impregnated herself. he had his boyfriend testify about the last night they had sex and where the condom went etc..i asked the boyfriend if he used a condom, and i swear to god in court in front of everyone he said "no, i was recieving that night and he was pitching, so i didnt need a condom."

@Kes- if you watch the vids i put up you can see how Skelator become Skelator and etc... it is pretty cool how they tied everything up
