Check Out A Gruesome Clip From SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Director Jon Watts' New Horror Movie CLOWN
Before Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters next year, director Jon Watts has a very cool looking horror movie on the way later this month, and you can check out a gruesome clip from Clown here.
Way back around Halloween in 2010, Jon Watts posted a fan-made trailer online for a movie called Clown which he managed to fool the internet into thinking would be Eli Roth's next film. This soon came to the Hostel helmer's attention, and rather than suing the aspiring filmmaker, he helped him get it made. Now, the very unique looking Clown is set to be released in theasters and VOD next Friday.
Revolving around a family man who is transformed into a monstrous clown after putting on a mysterious costume, the movie looks like a lot of fun as you can see from the hard to watch clip below. That features the lead's wife attempting to remove the bright red nose which is stuck to his face with understandably gruesome results. Spider-Man: Homecoming is obviously going to be the real test for Watts as a director, but the wall-crawler is in very safe hands if this sneak peek is any indication.
Below is the trailer for Clown, and it definitely looks like this will be a must-watch for horror fans. Cop Car was a great debut for Watts, and if you're at all curious about the filmmaker, check it out ASAP!
