'Ghostbusters 3' Is Getting The 3D Treatment!!!

Marketsaw.com is reporting they received a tip from an inside source at ILM that 'Ghostbusters 3' will be shot in stereoscopic 3D. So not only is 'Ghostbusters 3' looking like it will actually happen, but now we can expect a 3D version as well! Yay.

The entire cast has expressed interest in coming back to the franchise in some capacity or another. As long as they keep the same sense of comedy and the right amount of action 'Ghostbusters 3' is sure to be a hit.

In the future we can expect this type of 3D news about every major summer tent pole.

Is 3D warranted for all future films? No.

Would 'Ghostbusters 3' look cool in 3D? Yep!

3d was a gimmick in the 1950's, and it's a gimmick now. Does EVERYTHING now have to be done in 3D? I'm probably the only one, but I want less gimmickry in movies and more imagination and more story.

You know what, they should just go with the original guys. They're old..big [frick]in deal! So they're old..it happens! Its not like they're 80! Have some younger guys there as trainees too but I still think the originals should be the main focus.

It would probably look really cool in 3D but I really hope that this isnt going to be something that happens with pretty much every movie from now on..!

Avatar was awesome and all but if everything starts doing the exact same I think its not only going to get real old real fast but studios will just chuck it in for the sake of it and it'll just end up being crap!

Plus, those damned glasses are a pain in the ass lol! :)

A guy on the radio said bill and dan said it's called off that they aren't going to do a 3rd one that it's going to be all new cast.

3d or not, the fact the movie is happening at all makes me happy. if it was the worst movie in history i would prob still buy every GB3 merch i could get my hands on , see it at least twice (more if movie pans out) and walk around town in a proton pack. why? because its the effin ghostbusters, hell extreme ghostbusters was crap and i got up at 5 am to watch it on the only channel that would air it and bought all the action figures.

thats why we're called fanboys.
