Plenty Of New Gags In International Trailer For Paul Feig's GHOSTBUSTERS Reboot

A UK trailer has been released for Ghostbusters, and as much of an improvement on the teaser that the last one was, this is even better! We even get to learn exactly how the team gets their name.

While it's unlikely to change the minds of those who spend their free time creating duplicate YouTube accounts to dislike the Ghostbusters teaser, this UK preview of the movie is pretty great, and features plenty of new footage from the reboot. The trailer also reveals that it's Chris Hemsworth's dim-witted secretary who ends up naming the team when their official title proves too hard to remember.

Directed by Paul Feig, this new movie will focus on Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones), Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), and Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), along with Chris Hemsworth (as the team’s secretary), Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh, and Neil Casey as the reboot’s lead villain. Ghostbusters is currently set to be released on July 22nd, so stay tuned.

@MattBellissimo - Hopefully it does. They revealed the ending in this trailer where they are surrounded by people and announce themselves as the Ghost Busters along with how they defeat Rowan (The Logo Ghost) with the massive portal in the floor

Still not really feeling this... I'm guessing it'll be standard formula action comedy that we're all used to seeing. But maybe I'll be wrong.

@Kman - Not sure we can call this an action movie as it hasnt had any action yet other than the Ghostbusters failing to capture a flying Ghost and Rowan crashing through a building...

As for comedy... thats really judged on whether the 'jokes' made anyone laugh - and it doesnt seem like anyone is laughing at the jokes.

Another Ghostbusters movie was great in theory. This just seems so very poorly executed. THAT'S the problem.

Typical Sony really. Half-baked ideas in the name of rushing to make money.

Umm Sony, think you should clarify that and say 'The Amazing Spider-man 2'? Nope, just going to market it as Spider-man so people believe this is related to Civil War somehow... ok :L

Man u guys are tough critics. It looks a little funny and entertaining at the very least. It's about 4 chicks doing some ghost busting...what the heck are u really expecting? I'm sure if the original was being released today with the old crew u guys would probably be eating that one up too. Let's be honest, it was pretty cheesy as well. Not exactly a period piece.
