Two of the latest international television spots for Timur Bekmambetov's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter feature Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Lincoln's wife Mary Todd Lincoln. Also, Linkin Park's new music video has plenty of fresh footage from the film.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter explores the secret life of our greatest President, and the untold story that shaped our nation. Visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (director of Wanted) bring a fresh and visceral voice to the blood-thirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead.



Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is directed by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) and stars: Benjamin Walker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Erin Wasson, Rufus Sewell, Jimmi Simpson, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie. The film will be released on June 22, 2012.

I've heard the leaks from their upcoming album Living Things and I loved it, especially the awesome ballad Powerless - amazing song :)

Linkin park forever!!! Even if their songs are a bit different than before, they are still great with such awesome lyrics.

And Linkin Park with this movie...Wow!!! Looking forward to this:)

I'm not much of a fan of Linkin Park.
Their album A Thousand Suns to me seemed like they were trying to copy Radiohead's Kid A.
Plus their lyrics just plain suck.
"I'll paint it on the walls/'Cause I'm the one at fault/I'll never fight again/And this is how it ends"
God, it's just like they sat there thinking "Hm, what rhymes with walls? Fault! What rhymes with again? Oh yeah! Ends!"
And their songs mostly all have the same pattern.
Intro beat, raping verse, chorus, rapping verse, chorus, singing bridge, chorus with rap in the background. Like I said, I'm personally not much of a fan.

When Mary Elizabeth Winstead shot that gun in the first clip, it made me want to see this movie.

I hope she gets to do more action than just shoot a blonde vampire chick in the face.

Record sales don't measure the quality of an artist, neither do awards.
Awards are based on opinions, and are usually presented to the BIGGEST artist in a certain category, not necessarily the best. Take Radiohead for example. They've sold a moderate amount of records and aren't as well known by the general audience as Linkin Park, but RH is considered one of the most original and influencial bands of the last twenty years, and one of the most critically acclaimed. Bands like Coldplay and Muse are often called Radiohead 2.0 because of how they not only copy a lot of Radiohead's sound, but even the singer's singing style. Also, you may have heard of a little band known as Nirvana.
Kurt Cobain admitted himself that he stole Nirvana's "signature" sound from a much less commercially successful band known as The Pixies. Think about this. If a great band doesn't sale many records and aren't that well known, then that means won't be well known enough to be nominated for any major awards, because there are thousands of unknown bands out there in the world. Remember, just because they sale a lot of albums or win a lot of awards doesn't mean they're great. Katy Perry has sold a lot of albums and won a lot of awards, would you say she's one of the greatest because of this? No.

Yeah, this film looks cooler with every shot. But they still need a hook trailer to get the general public into it. I am really hoping it ends up the surprise hit of the weekend and holds strong. And give me less Chester in LP and I'm in.

Meytal is awesome. For a moment I thought that was Bagadooshes secret identity. Tool? Class. Abe Linkin Park? Not so much.

Couldn't be less interestd in this movie though I do like MEW. She was gawjus in Scott Pilgrim.

Linkin Park used to be pretty badass in their day. Now Mike Shinoda's about the only good thing about them.

Oh yeah and Tools the best band in the world. Not opinion but scientific fact measured by scientists the world over. Listen to the song Lateralus and you will agree with their assessment :P
